UK based Co-founder of PROGRESS:ON. DJ and Event Promoter. In 2024 Nasser has relocated from living in Cyprus to his hometown in Newcastle. During lockdown his live stream series “Melodicast” grew into an exciting gathering of music lovers on Youtube, and when events opened up this became a sunkissed 3 year DJ career across the beach bar, nightclub and festival events based along the Mediterranean coastline, which has further curated his style today.

Nasser’s personal taste is inspired by the connections he made with strangers on the dancefloor when a special moment is felt together –  which he believes is only achieved with phones away so we are present with one another.

He is one of the first promoter DJs in the U.K. to bring regular daytime electronic music events to clubs and outdoor spaces in his hometown. Celebrating it’s 5th birthday this year, PROGRESS:ON, has uncovered a niche of people of all age ranges who want to party in the day and remain ready to take on tomorrow. Nasser’s event was born from moving into a house where he could throw house parties with loud sound systems, and they attracted so many people it eventually had to go public.

Today Nasser serves DJ Mag's favourite clubs including Guaba (Cyprus), Digital, theCut and World Head Quarters (Newcastle), and a recent highlight BEONIX Festival & Sunset Tribes Festival in Larnaca.

Nasser is growing an international electronic music following. His cross-genre journeys through rhythmic, bright and vibrant sounds are influenced by the basslines of Serge Devant, the grooves of Jimpster & Marlon George to the energy of Butch, Josh Butler & Nick Curly. 

Nasser regularly DJs at festivals and venues in the UK and across the Republic of Cyprus for GUABA, KESH, AGORA ROOFTOP, NOA BEACH and BEONIX FESTIVAL and throwing intimate terrace parties in Newcastle UK under his event brand PROGRESS:ON. 

When not DJing in-person you can catch him live streaming in front DJs and music lovers worldwide on youtube, growing awareness for artists, labels and enabling everyone to discover brand new releases from rising stars in the scene.
