Debs is a Newcastle based artist and maker of music. She trained at The Kent Institute of Art & Design and Goldsmith's, University of London.

Debs is a multi-instrumentalist. She began writing what could be described as acoustic indie-folk. She now tends to focus on writing experimental and cinematic soundscapes.

Debs has played live in session for the BBC. She’s received multiple plays on BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio Newcastle, Amazing Radio & many other UK & international radio stations.

Debs has collaborated with New York based cellist Leah Coloff (Damon Albarn/Blur, Nancy Sinatra, Iggy Pop) www.leahcoloff.com 
They will be looking to work together again in the near future.

Featured on everything between Stuart Maconie's Freak Zone on BBC 6 Music and Radio 4's Sleeping Forecast. Often piano led, this combines with samples and layers to create a musical narrative. When not doing this I write and perform with Bledig, which has quite a few spins on Radio 6Music, album due in 2023.  I have written and recorded music for documentaries, films and drama. Recently I scored the Panorama documentary "Return From Isis: A Family's Story". Other work includes assisting on the acclaimed documentary "Nigeria's Stolen Daughters" , which won an Emmy award for outstanding score.
