DMGD (pronounced letter by letter) is an on-the-rise recording artist and songwriter. DMGD is a born and raised New Yorker, hence his play-no-games type attitude lyrically. DMGD creates, writes, records, and handles all aspects of his career from his studio in Napa, California. He is inspired by the culture, enigma, and disruption of late 90’s R&B and the raw creative delivery of 70’s soul. His influences range from Al Green to Ms. Lauryn Hill and on. His most recent releases, “Bubblegum”, “SIX SHOTS 2023”, and “Risk Prevention” have garnered over half a million streams in a few short months, with plans for more releases and a debut EP later this fall. DMGD has secured FM radio placement in several European and Middle Eastern countries as well as being featured on EARMILK, LA Weekly, and several other prominent media outlets. He also was added into rotation on Dash Radio. DMGD performed at Sacramento Pride Festival in June and is performing at Las Vegas Pride Festival and Palm Springs Pride Festival this fall. He was nominated for Pop at the 2023 Hollywood Independent Music Awards. Viberate called DMGD an “unquestionable rising star in the cutthroat music industry” definitely proving himself a major artist to watch in 2024.
