A young artist with exceptional musical talent, able to create the most amazing music and with the vision and drive to develop his own distinct imprint is most definitely someone to take notice of. Cleverly reconstituting the track with a spikey, heavier (yet equally enthralling) intro, they gradually blend in swirling melodic elements to the irresistable groove. Its easy to become lost in the delirious atmosphere as these two super-talented producers work their hypnotic magic, trading euphoric peaks with pure heads-down, hot and sweaty, darkroom dancefloor attitude. This is a musically dense and diverse trip that is as dynamic as it is organic, gradually turning up the pressure, until the very last drop of emotion has poured out of the speakers. Lost & Found is a mission statement, a superb label debut, exploring the psyche of electronic dance music, asking questions and tasting possibilities, forging ahead into the future. The latest release on Clubsonica Records finds Golan Zocher returning to the label for his debut single 'Shush'. The Colombian born, Israel based artist made his debut on the Colombian imprint in June of 2017 with a remix (in collaboration with Kamilo Sanclemente) of 'Expression' by Dmitry Molosh. 2018 then saw Golan return for his second remix, a stunning take on Andre Sobota's 'Missing Line'. Also laying claim to releases on Lonya's Asymmetric Recordings and Guy Mantzur's Plattenbank Records, Golan now returns to Clubsonica for his first single alongside remixes from Alex O'Rion and Supacooks.

Sitting comfortably in deeper territory Golan crafts a redolent framework complete with harmonious grooves, sultry hooks and spirited electronics. Diversifying his portfolio further Golan's masterstroke is to collaborate and introduce the gorgeous vocals of MILA. Hailing from Colombia and an artist of profound talent, she infuses the piece with authentic soul and genuine emotion. Breathy wails and romantic storyboards come in waves, effortlessly drifting through a maze of organic drums and melodic clusters, before reaching a serene and spiritually uplifting finale.

The first interpretation of 'Shush' is provided by Alex O'Rion who makes his label debut. In addition to appearances on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, the Dutch artist has also found a home on Nick Warren's Hope Recordings and ICONYC. Always a regular in Beatport's Progressive House charts, Alex now debuts on Clubsonica with a superb remix of 'Shush'. Aptly coined 'Deep Dub', the Dutch artist strips the groove down, putting a focus on harmonious bass and ghostly vocal fragments. Dreamy yet powerful, it's free flowing narrative quickly draws you in to a storyboard of luminous tones and dusty sweeps, while a carefully crafted break sits at the core, before effortlessly shifting energy into a glowing finale.

The release concludes with Supacooks providing the second and final interpretation of 'Shush'. The Armenian duo have also been a staple in Beatport's Progressive House charts for some time. A string of well received releases for Beatfreak Recordings, Dear Deer and Parquet Recordings have made them one of hottest production duos of the moment. Now making a welcome debut on Clubsonica, Supacooks deliver a superb rendition of 'Shush' to cap the release off in style. Otherworldly in nature, tough beats and crisp percussion anchor the journey as the piece flows through a series of vocal edits and pulsating rhythms. Continuing on an unpredictable storyboard, luminous tonal themes and devilish stabs highlight the first act, perfectly setting up an ethereal break. Adding further intrigue, indistinct vocal fragments and buzzing stabs sit in stark contrast, before a powerful build and spacey drop seals it's dance floor appeal. A stunning remix from Supacooks which caps off another inspired offering from Clubsonica Records, who continue a strong start to 2019.

Madloch’s Sound Avenue continues a successful year by welcoming Nopi back to the label for his debut EP. The Ukrainian artist and organic house favourite has highlighted 2020 with a pair of remixes for the Belgian imprint, reworking Bigasti & Balad’s ‘The Days’ and ‘Pearl’ by Paula OS. Having built an impressive resume at just over eighteen months into his production journey, the Ukrainian talent also calls Akbal Music, Kindisch, Seven Villas and When We Dip XYZ home. Now embarking on his first EP project for Sound Avenue, Nopi presents his much anticipated four track showcase ‘Where To Go’ 

Already beloved for his melody crafting prowess, that sentiment will only grow with the title selection ‘Where To Go’. Anchored by a warm, progressive minded groove, its atmospheric scope comes up quickly, with glowing overlays and blissful vocal wails layering a bed of finely tuned percussion. The vocal narrative takes centrestage across the main break; emotive and hopeful in equal measure, it resonates beautifully against a wave of meditative arps, flowing through tasteful modulation as the groove drops for a finale of nostalgic chord changes.

Expanding his portfolio further, Nopi works with Argentinean vocalist Sarah Chilanti on the EP’s second selection ‘Flatter’. Its well carved groove is fluid yet funky; perfectly contoured and characterized by undulating sonics. It provides the perfect foundation for waves of exotic percussion and buoyant rhythmic themes, as Sarah’s enchanting wails and cascading piano’s trail across a heartfelt centrepiece, before a gentle rush cues an impassioned final movement.

The EP’s midway point finds Nopi exploring a deeper narrative with ‘Hookan Idyll’. From stripped down beginnings comes hopeful atmospheres and redolent shades, slowly descending over dulcet beats, organic drums and dusty artefacts. As the narrative evolves so too does its emotive appeal, with hazy harmonics and vocal fragments trailing over the framework, before a misty break effortlessly segues into a charming final act.

Rounding out the release are the deeper, ethereal vibes of ‘Sense In Nature’. Known for sitting comfortably between progressive and organic house, Nopi’s borderless vision fuels this meditative gem. It’s warm beats, perfectly sculpted bass and effervescent percussion unite for a fluid rhythmic core. Buzzing effects and cross-cultural overlays then advance the narrative with an effortless ease, splitting moods between the surreal and soulful. Building to a robust rumble, the centrepiece captivates and excites with its dynamic pulses, before gently accelerating to a tasteful crescendo. It rounds out a spirited collection of music from Nopi, making his first original project for Sound Avenue a most memorable one.
