'Juicebox Music's 60th release sees Claudio Cornejo making his debut release on our imprint. Better known under the outfit - Analog Jungs alongside Gustavo Ruarte, Claudio Cornejo's solo project kickstarted in 2010 through multiple collaborations with fellow Argentinian - Antrim. The Cordoba-based artist's discography boasts of associations with labels such as DJ Zombi's 'Beat Boutique', Juan Pablo Torrez' 'Clubsonica', Mango's 'Mango Alley' & Antrim's 'Or Two Strangers' to name a few. Claudio Cornejo now presents his latest offering via Juicebox Music featuring "Sahura" & "Ramses", both armed with powerful grooves, driving basslines, haunting atmospheres & melodic lines that vividly paint an arabesque theme, transporting the listener to those mysterious & ancient times.

Another artist returning to the imprint is Konstantin Petrov, better known to everyone as K Loveski. The Saint Petersberg (Russia) native and WARPP club resident made his debut on our imprint through his collaborative "Lost In Roses" EP with Kabi (AR) back in late 2021. Highlights of his decade long works include being released on Nick Warren's 'The Soundgarden' imprint + Nick's compilation for 'Balance Music', Francesco Pico's 'Magnitude Recordings' and Sonic Union's 'Lowbit Records' to name a few. K Loveski's effervescent attitude reflects in his sound bringing life & positivity to every track he touches and that's exactly what he's done with his remix of Claudio Cornejo's "Ramses", switching up the mood & generating an irresistible vibe.'

Agustin Pengov & Noise Generation - Sritina (Original Mix) [Univack]

Driven to produce a thoroughly modern and highly individual style of underground dance music, Amháin has consistently found himself at the bleeding edge of innovative progressive house. Using his innate skills to transport listeners into new and distant worlds both from behind the decks at the likes of Burning Man in the US and Rainbow Serpent and Lightning in a Bottle his Australian home, Amháin never fails to impress in the studio with a clutch of statement releases. The Purr, Sound Avenue, Mango Alley and GMJ & Matter's Meanwhile have all played host to his talents while April 2023's "Evaporate" EP was a standout release on Particles.

A pair of remixes for Michael A in January 2022 and Erdi Irmak a year later, showcased Amháin's production talent on Proton Music as the New South Wales-based star now releases his debut original EP for the label. Taking two distinct forms, "Starseed" is a blissful, beautifully imagined track that drives easily forward in its "Night Mix" with effortless percussive verve, driving beat and bassline groove. Subtle melodic flourishes float across the mid-range with textured pads and white-noise effect before a glorious breakdown showcases the bass and melodic combination with spine-tingling majesty. The rich bassline force and ingenious rhythmic cadence mark a significant shift in direction during the "Sunrise Mix". Familiar melodies drift easily throughout the 7-minute piece, but the broken-beat vibe and body-shaking groove take "Starseed" in a smooth and effortless new direction, perfect for warm southern hemisphere early mornings.

On remix duties, Sri Lankan star, Subandrio, takes centre stage. A firm favourite among the Proton faithful, the Colombo-based DJ and producer is recognised by his ability to "paint a masterpiece every night with energy and synergy", resulting in him being crowned "Pioneer Middle East DJ of the Year". A stellar cast of remixes represents the Subandrio journey thus far with interpretations of the likes of Matter, Trilucid and Juan Deminicis dating back to a 2016 debut of Pete K. Returning for an eighth time, the Subandrio remix of "Starseed" is a gloriously deep and sophisticated offering that revels in a suite of trademark production characteristics centred around a smooth rolling groove and syncopated bassline. Evolving in silky fashion, familiar melodies reveal themselves with subtly filtered reverence, while a cast of new production material can be heard via the intricate percussive foundation and elegantly crafted melodies at the breakdown. The result is another masterful reworking that showcases Subandrio's skill and technique.

Growing to new heights, Amháin reaches out into the cosmos with "Starseed", ably abetted by Subandrio and his explosive remix.

The latest release from Cid Inc's Replug Records welcomes Dmitry Molosh to the label for his debut EP. The Belarus based artist is coming off the best year of his career in 2015. Dmitry's modern approach to progressive music caught the attention of Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J, both of whom played and charted several of his productions throughout the year. 2016 holds great promise as well with forthcoming material signed to Guy Mantzur's Plattenbank Records. Beginning the new year in style Dmitry now presents his debut EP for Replug Records entitled 'Boa'. 

Dmitry's tightly constructed grooves and smooth rhythmic cadence were one of the underground's true sonic delights last year. The lead track 'Boa' stretches those boundaries further and might just be his finest work to date.  Anchored by a pair of offset bass stabs and distinctive kicks, Dmitry begins to take you on a journey through the dark realms of progressive techno. Mystical sweeps complement the electronic underbelly, before a wall of white noise reveals a tonal theme and rugged lead line. It's boundless energy carries it with ease into the main break, where a sequence of sonic decay precedes an impactful build, ultimately reigniting the groove for a stellar finish. 

The EP's second selection 'Vapour' finds Dmitry unleashing a large peak time creation that's full of unique design qualities. Bulging bass swells, trailing effects and a lone acid line set the piece in motion, while waves of percussion and a galloping groove lay down a mesmerizing vibe. As the first act peaks, indistinct vocals and grinding electronics converge for a psychedelic audio collage, further obliterating the senses. The tracks centrepiece is another highlight with its intense acidic build and heightened state of mind. It all amounts to another huge finale from the Belarusian artist, guaranteed for dance floor success.  

The release concludes with 'Heavy Machine', which finds Dmitry exploring peak time territory with one of his most techno inspired creations to date. Backed by the EP's most ferocious groove, it sits nicely alongside the previous two cuts as a more energetic complement. Once again Dmitry carves out a beefy foundation and scintillating designs, before eerie vocal elements pierce the air while clusters of claps add further electricity to the mix. The vocal storyboard continues into the break where the mystical surroundings converge for an amazing moment, making for an unforgettable conclusion to the release. For a producer that had an amazing year in 2015, Dmitry has certainly raised the bar with this three track collection. Already a highlight in many of Cid Inc's recent sets this is one EP that you don't want to miss.
