**MC Melo-D** is a veteran UK drum & bass and jungle MC whose career spans nearly three decades, making him one of the most enduring voices in the scene. Hailing from South London, he began raving in 1993 at iconic venues like Lazerdrome, Labyrinth, Orange, Roast, and Helter Skelter. By 1996, he had transitioned to the mic, performing at legendary events such as Jungle Fever, One Nation, Telepathy ([SoundCloud][1])

A cornerstone of the **Kool FM** family, Melo-D has been a regular presence on the station for over 10 years, co-hosting the acclaimed **NiceSoundsShow** alongside DJ Uno. Their sets blend classic jungle energy with modern drum & bass, showcasing styles from Jump Up to Liquid and Rollers. Notably, they performed at the **Boiler Room Festival London 2021**, representing Kool FM in a celebrated takeover. ([YouTube][2])

Melo-D's collaborations include working with producers like **Ed Solo** on the underground anthem "Bassline Growler" and with **DJ L-Side** on releases through V Recordings. His international performances span cities like Miami, Denver, Barcelona, and Berlin, and he has graced UK venues such as Brighton's Volks Club, Concorde 2, and The Glasshouse. 

Beyond live events, Melo-D maintains a strong online presence, sharing mixes and performances on platforms like SoundCloud and TikTok.  His enduring passion and dedication have solidified his status as a respected figure in the drum & bass community.
