Spanish imprint Parallel Depth continue to sparkle and startle in the most brilliant of ways, bringing through only the very best from their homebase in Sevilla, on both a national and international level. For their latest EP, which arrives tomorrow August 4th, they've recruited Belgian beatsmith Medok, who continues to impress after a run of strong, upbeat productions. We've got the pleasure of premiering the lead track from his Parallel Depth release, entitled 'Mind Games'. It's a real beauty, harnessing sharp, shuffling breakbeat diagnostics, a pitch-perfect, swooping vocal and a delightful, partnered sub and pads combo that really puts the icing on the cake. Following up on a fresh stream of new music, Counterpoint Recordings is delighted to welcome Slovakian act – Zound, for an amazing 4-track EP, filled with deep/tech Drum & Bass goodness.

Officially created in mid-2019, the Zound project merges the talents of Sulex and Matej from the M2K duo, to combine their production and DJing experience. Since their debut, they have released several free singles and signed under some of the world's leading Drum & Bass labels such as Dispatch Recordings, Flexout Audio and Delta9.


For their first release on Counterpoint, the Slovakian duo invited the two of Bristol’s fastest rising talents - Creatures and Jestah, for two amazing collaborations which complement the deep vibe of the EP with a pristine tech-rolling vibe.

Pushing forward on this new Counterpoint Recordings era, this EP showcases everything that our #basslineGroove stands for.
