Expanding on the narrative that he’s been developing and universe he’s been building since his debut album Coeur Calme in 2014, this year saw him launch his own label [ + + + ], a series of EPs that culminated in his fourth album Emblem Of Peace, a short cinematic piece entitled Uaminifu and a concept live performance.

Each creative dispatch sculpted with meaning and laced with all kinds of references and easter eggs for the most scrutinous explorer of his musical universe, the Vienna-based artist has hit auteur levels of detail and inter-disciplinary range this year; the more of his work you take in, the more you get back from it.

"DKK has been creating some hefty (low end) waves throughout QLD & NSW over the past few years. Initially embarking on his journey through music and sound as a drummer at heart, playing in various rock and metal bands.. this, accompanied a keen ear for 90’s style hip hop/Boombap. More recent years have seen DKK delving into the deep organic lower frequencies of the Didgeridoo. Naturally, when he got behind the 1's & 2's, DKK gravitated towards the realms of Drum & Bass and 140 flavours. This journey amalgamating DKK’s intricate understanding of rhythm and percussion along with his refined resonance and relationship with the lower frequencies. Heavily influenced by his obsession for the realms lesser known and his strong connection to rhythm, DKK conducts a uniquely diverse and colourful yet deep, (and sometimes a little nasty) atmosphere on any dance floor. These frequencies have been felt throughout QLD, NSW and across the pond in Christchurch, New Zealand. Playing at some of Australia’s finest festivals such as, Elements, Tropical Bloom, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Amalgarhythmz, plus many more that will have to remain unnamed..
Recently, DKK has got on board with @DataTransmissionRadio. Streaming a monthly 2hr show on the last Saturday of every month. Showcasing his selections, some pre-releases, some freshly released material and even some DUBS, of some of the finest Drum & Bass and 140 on offer. DKK has supported some of the finest in the game - Alix Perez, Dom and Rolland, Monty, Halogenix, Kasra, Enei, Particle, Loefah, Gerry & Stone, K-Motionz, DJ Hybrid, to name a few..

Enter in producers like Gremlinz, who went from that heavy, breakbeat-massacring camp and have siphoned his sound onto some of the top tier labels in the scene, gaining ample respect with each single and EP dropped. 

Following his debut on Metalheadz MDZ04 Lp, Gremlinz has dropped tracks on a number of labels, and with each release, the accolades have poured in. His style is multi-faceted, allowing him to drop both pulsating, breakbeat-heavy B-Boy affairs to the more understated, dub-heavy tunes seemingly at will. His production style has been well-received on both sides of the pond, and landed him a spot on Loxy & Ink's HORSEMEN collective, aligning him with a superb stable of producers.
