Kicking off the EP we have the title track, 'Substance'. This one starts off with an array of clicky drums and pumping atmospherics which give you a clue as to the direction the track is going to take but it doesn't take long for the track to suddenly morph into what can only be described as the definition of minimal DNB. Reverbed vocals, fizzing basses and techy percs weave their way through one another before being flipped on their head with a change in the drum pattern. And this track is only the beginning...
