Drum and bass champions Serum, Bladerunner and Voltage, aka Kings Of The Rollers are back in the ring with their latest slammers ‘Overload’ (feat. Sweetie Irie) and ‘Somebody Else Part 2’ (feat. Lydia Plain). In 2020, they released ‘The Main Event EP’, a 4-track smasher packed with heavy basslines, ethereal synths and creeping melodies. Cooking up certified bangers such as ‘XXX’, the Circuits Rewire of ‘Burnt Ends’, cold-cut classic ‘Somebody Else’ feat. Lydia Plain and ‘Solar Heat’, Kings Of The Rollers are coming back stronger than ever with two more dancefloor destroyers to add to their back catalogue.
Punchy drums, zestful chimes and a solid booming bassline set the tone for ‘Overload’. As reggae dancehall legend Sweetie Irie flows over the innovative blend of production styles from The Kings, granting us an irresistibly vibey roller that will definitely get raves rumbling.
