May 2014 Connaisseur Recordings released Of Norway's debut album “Accretion“, a musical journey which showcased the Norwegian duo's creativity and ability to create music on the border between songwriting and club music. A remix EP has now come out for the superior track "Spirit Lights". 

Italy's up and coming Lehar created for the flip side such a mystical and alluring interpretation of the original, that it quickly ended up as a regular in the sets of Mano Le Tough and Adriatique, just to name a few.

Spirit Lights Remixes will be released on Connaisseur Recordings via Beatport and on vinyl March 16th. iTunes and all other stores will follow March 30th.

ARTBAT is a new collaboration of DJ Artur and Batish. The two came together in the winter of 2015 to share their creative vision which builds upon the unique professional experiences and expertise that each of the two brings to the table.  The melody and depth of the Progressive, the atmosphere of Techno, the hypnotics of Minimal-techno and the rhythmics of Tech-house - this extraordinary project has it all!

Their new EP 'Chivvy / Momentum’ on Definition:Music is a two track affair and we premiere Momentum which is a fantastic late night journey. This is a dark underground track, with the vocal monologue adding to the natural feel of the track.

Together from birth, two brothers united by their passion for music and more, Pongo is the latest sound evolution of Giovanni Bruni and Daniele Bruni. Growing up with a very similar musical culture, handed down in turn by their parents, the two brothers have always shared their art projects together. Giovanni started playing as a DJ in the early 2000s now enjoying success in the most famous clubs of the clubbing scene in Tuscany. Soon, his younger brother Daniele follows the same steps as supporting him in DJ sets and creating their first music projects together. In 2011, together with Luca L. and Elia C. founded the brand Yuma Recordings.In addition to the  label ,Yuma began to be known for the club event, Yuma Nights, and in 2013 the collective Yuma created the Vibe Club, a place that offered innovative sound in Italian nightlife. The brothers felt that they had to make their most personal productions, with which they can open up more towards a wider musical landscape.
 After a period of evolution in the studio in 2016, it's time to get back on stage for Giovanni and Daniele with their new Pongo project that takes shape with Giovanni on vocals. Their strong influences that fuses electronics, soul, and techno have created this new way of approaching the dancefloor: the combination of evocative song and a powerful and refined set.

Agents Of Time are proud to present ‘Ordinary Cosmic Dance’, the new EP on their own Obscura imprint. Over three tracks the Bari based trio brandish hypnotic, looping melodies in techno structures with subtle trance references. It arrives a year after the birth of the label, which has since issued music by Hiver, Amandra and The Hacker amongst others.

‘Ordinary Chaos’ builds low end frequencies juxtaposed with a stripped back melodic lead and staccato bass. ‘Cosmic Frequencies’ revolves around a syncopated synth line that swells its way through mesmeric percussion and entrancing pads. ‘Dance Impulse’ takes fragments of dub techno and remoulds them into a glitchy dancefloor workout.

We Are The Brave’s roster just keeping on giving. Alan kicked off his label in 2017 with his club anthem “We Do What We Want” putting the label firmly on the underground map. Since then he’s handed over the reins to artists including Gary Beck, Darius Dyrossian, Skober and Reset Robot, not forgetting Alan’s smash hit collab “El Jefe” with the one and only Sasha.

2018 has a lot to live up for, but already they have smashed it out the park with releases and events, including the sold-out Alan Fitzpatrick’s Day in March, in addition to showcasing some of the newest talents around including releases from Kevin De Vires and Thomas Evans.

Back to the UK we go for June with Southampton local Ronnie Spiteri and his debut on the label with ‘Thunder Life’ – a slow atmospheric builder of a track, accompanied by a rumbling kick, eerie synth syncopations and that deep synthetic trademark growl.

“I am really happy to have Ronnie join the We Are The Brave ranks. He is from the same city as me and I have loved seeing him develop and grow as a writer and DJ over the years. I’m excited to add another homegrown talent to the label” adds Alan

Upbeat, euphoric early morning Ibiza moments come to mind when you hear ‘Sleep Walker’ and it’s precise and piercing kick and a more downtempo pace link perfectly with the a-side. “He has proper nailed it with these two tracks. It is going to be a sick release!" says Alan

It doesn’t get much bigger than this: Adam Beyer links up with Green Velvet and Drumcode’s outstanding rising star Layton Giordani for a debut collaboration.

Some musical partnerships feel fated. Both fans of one another’s work, for years Adam Beyer and Green Velvet had discussed writing music together. In turn, Beyer’s protégé Layton Giordani had admired the Chicagoan’s work for as long as he could remember. When the 25-year-old found himself playing alongside the green mohawked legend at Belfast’s Shine, the spark and subsequent friendship was immediate. With the links now set in place, it was only a matter of time before the trio’s creative chemistry would manifest musically. 

‘Space Date’ was conceived organically and birthed quickly. Propelled by Green Velvet’s trademark vocal hypnotism, the triumvirate combine to craft a pumping intergalactic slice of techno laced in melody that’s highlighted sets by Beyer at Awakenings, Ushuaia and also EDC Vegas when Green Velvet dropped it to a raucous response. The track is complimented by ‘Rome Future’, the product of a year-long series of productions between Beyer and Giordani. Deftly combining crisp drum work, catchy vocal effects and a powerful bassline melody that gives the track an almighty kick, it will be familiar to many who’ve followed their sets over recent months.
