Dungeon Beats team is back again, hitting another milestone. The third release on the label takes the shape of a 4-track EP, consisting of 2 original productions from Arkham Sound and Rakjay as well as 2 mutual remixes. Watertight mastering treatment courtesy of the one and only Hebbe.

To kick things off, “Bunking” by Rakjay gets straight to the point by landing some proper earth-shattering basslines accompanied by murky percussions to top it off precisely with some fine grime/hip hop-like sample work.

Then comes the Arkham Sound, laying down a wicked remix of “Bunking” by taking things in a different direction - it’s a moody, acidy lurker with Arkham’s signature style sprinkled all around the grid. Pure alien spaceship vibes.

“Nexus” by Arkham Sound is where it’s getting nasty - intense, techy soundscapes filled to the extreme with face-melting bass pulses and stomping, inch-perfect percussions, precisely polished and wrapped up into a stunning piece of art. Computer sounds galore!

Collie Weed is a selector, DJ, and promoter who has been actively involved in the Polish reggae scene since 2001. His musical interests encompass a wide spectrum of genres, evident in his vinyl-only sets that range from rocksteady and traditional reggae to ragga-hip-hop, along with various electronic hybrids of these genres, such as jungle/halfstep and similar styles. He has remained active in the reggae music scene to this day, extending his involvement beyond this genre. He was one of the founders of the now-defunct Poznań crew Dubside, which focused on promoting and organizing dubstep events. He has hosted over 500 radio spots on Radio Afera. Previously a member of the Poznań-based collective Ictus, he is now an active member of the Dub System collective.

Another one from Vinylgate stream promoting release of our first vinyl (DNG003: Rakjay/Arkham Sound - Bunking/Nexus). 

This one from Morfeusz - West Pomeranian representative of the scene. His heart beats at 140 and sometimes accelerates to 160 bpm. Enthusiast of sounds tinged with rootsy skank. His favorite medium is, of course, vinyl. In the past he happened to organize parties. He is co-responsible for a series of soundsystem events under the "Natural Selection" sign. He has powered several festivals and events throughout Poland with his selection.
In addition to all this, he is a lover of good coffee, good design and martial arts.
