We are saddened by the loss of Ángel Parra; a sweet soul of poetry, who left us a month ago,
Philippe Cohen Solal (Gotan Project) had the honor to meet him and become his friend many years ago.
To pay tribute to his memory, Philippe releases a tribute song to Ángel’s comrade, Víctor Jara, famous singer-songwriter and chilean martyr, who was shot 44 times by the militia of Pinochet, two days after his coup.
Ángel kindly accepted to record a song with Philippe: "44 tiros"

Philippe Cohen Solal (Gotan Project) a eu la chance de le rencontrer il y a quelques années et de le fréquenter depuis.
Il a voulu, pour célébrer sa mémoire, mettre en ligne un morceau qu'il a créé en hommage au camarade d'Ángel, Víctor Jara, célèbre musicien et martyr chilien, tué de 44 balles par les putschistes de Pinochet en 1973, deux jours après le coup d'État.
Ángel lui avait fait l'amitié de participer à ce morceau: "44 tiros"
