Kneaded Pain's KPAINS series returns for its eighth instalment as it continues to push and highlight some of the brightest new talents rising up across the techno landscape.

A bumper collection of raw and hypnotic tracks from the likes of Nuke, Marina George, Holger Zilske and Martin Landsky are joined by harder techno cuts from Rispoli Benito, Debbie It and Fenska. 

Risa Taniguchi and Do Shock Booze go dark and psychedelic with their offerings, whilst Queer On Acid, Melvin Spix, Mijk van Dijk, and Alex Blanco round off this essential package with some groove laden club tracks.

aeternae (@aeternae-music), founder of  "substrate", is an Italian artist based in Barcelona with a strong connection two both audio and visual ways of artistic expressions. His DJ sets and productions are a unique fusion of euphoric and psychedelic techno, distinctive with his captivating and attentive sound design. Sharing the same characteristics as his productions, his  DJ sets delve deeper into the psychedelic dimension of techno, leading the dancefloor to a state of euphoria, through his precise, deliberate control over sound and energy. DO SHOCK BOOZE, who runs the Japanese indie label TOTEM TRAXX, has released “Firefly Squid,” a floor-ready techno track featuring KENJI IKEGAMI playing the shakuhachi, a traditional Japanese instrument, and flavored with electronic tribal dance and trance music. Firefly Squid” on his home label.The track is a hard, heavy minimal techno with a dubby percussive sound and a somewhat mysterious, ravey synth sound.The remixers for this album include Len Faki's Figure label, as well as the label's party series “MEiYOU,” a Japan performance at the outdoor festival “GLOBAL ARK,” Bassiani, Reclain your City, and many others, and a podcast series that brings the current techno scene to the world. Solarythm is a versatile producer and DJ from Nantes.
Best known for his live psytrance project, his music has gradually expanded into techno and ambient, creating vibrant and introspective soundscapes.

Capodanna is an Oslo based DJ, and has been a dedicated dancer for as long as she can remember. As an aesthetic voyager she traveled through a vast territory of Electronica's geography before something clicked once she allowed herself to be seduced by the deeper realms of Techno. The visionary soundscapes, the organic flow, the layering and the dynamic balancing of tribalism and futurism - Deep Techno encapsulated all that she was searching for.

Being surrounded by talented and experienced DJ's it was natural for her to take the step towards the art of collecting, selecting, mixing and recording. Capodanna is today a well known face in the Oslo underground, and has shared her love for deep, trippy technoid beats on festivals such as MO:DEM (Croatia), Ometeotl (Mexico) and Soria (Norway).
