DO SHOCK BOOZE, who runs the Japanese indie label TOTEM TRAXX, has released “Firefly Squid,” a floor-ready techno track featuring KENJI IKEGAMI playing the shakuhachi, a traditional Japanese instrument, and flavored with electronic tribal dance and trance music. Firefly Squid” on his home label.The track is a hard, heavy minimal techno with a dubby percussive sound and a somewhat mysterious, ravey synth sound.The remixers for this album include Len Faki's Figure label, as well as the label's party series “MEiYOU,” a Japan performance at the outdoor festival “GLOBAL ARK,” Bassiani, Reclain your City, and many others, and a podcast series that brings the current techno scene to the world. The album also features three tracks with Arthur Robert, who has participated in numerous podcast series such as Bassiani, Reclain your City, etc., and DJ M.A.X, a P.A., DJ, and producer who is active mainly in Japan and whose obsession with sound quality is beyond the realm of enthusiasts, as the splendid remixer. Furthermore, the music video supervised by Kazuhiro Inoue, who also works as a VJ, features street dance crew Shiba SIVA (CCBB&YUNA), UV Live Painter, Kocha Wadda, and others appear in the music video supervised by Kazuhiro Inoue, who also works as a VJ, and beautifully expresses the unique worldview of the song.The journey to find new energy in the supernatural sound world that transcends the boundaries of all living things of TOTEM TRAXX continues!

We’re beyond happy to finally share the very first recording from Refractor.

This one captures around an hour of the captivating live set by the talented French artist trois quarts taxi system, who guided us from daylight into dusk on the second day of the gathering. A sonic passage, subtle yet powerful, weaving us gently through time.

Producteur, performeur live, artiste sonore et DJ, Trois-Quarts Taxi System (Eloi Petillon) fait partie de cette génération post-Covid qui embrasse pleinement son style hybride, se libérant des étiquettes de genre pour créer des paysages sonores complexes et hypnotiques. Le dubstep, la techno, l'électro acoustique et même la dnb ne sont que quelques-uns des univers qu’il survole et mixe à la recherche d’expériences cérébrales, psychédéliques et imprévisibles où design sonore futuriste, field recordings et polyrhythmes se mêlent et s’affrontent.
Il est actuellement résident sur les radios Rinse et Lyl. En 2019, il co-fonde le collectif et label De la... je l'espère, puis l'année suivante, le label Hard Love Motor Love, dédié à la musique expérimentale et aux créations visuelles.

The main guest is Stefan Vincent, a firmly established talent in the European electronic music scene. With releases on notable labels like Token, Dynamic Reflection, Symbolism, and Non Series, Stefan Vincent has a powerful presence, known for his innovative and intricately constructed sound that defies genre boundaries.

His unique style and unwavering commitment to his craft have earned high praise from critics and selectors worldwide, leading to features on prestigious compilations like Fabric and Balance. With his diverse productions and captivating DJ sets, he's thrilled audiences across the globe, from Europe and South America to Asia and Australia.

This journey is now bringing him to Japan for the GLOBAL ARK 2025 outdoor music festival! The festival runs for three days from August 29th to 31st at "Suteki na Mura Campsite" in the Asamagakushi Hot Spring Village, located on the west side of Mt. Haruna.
