DJ, producer, Ibiza dignitary Kenneth Bager assembles another string of Balearic pearls with Sunset Sessions Vol. 8. 

We get 18 tracks covering the new developments within the orange-tinged domains of chill-out & downtempo, house, disco, ambient and more. It’s aerial sweeps, coasting basslines, waltzing guitars and halcyon pads. Wobbling beats drumming ripples through aquatic expanses. 

If we were to extract a consistent purpose or idea from the (soon to be 20 year-old) release journey of Kenneth Bager’s label, Music For Dreams, it would be about keeping Balearic music fresh. Maintaining the genre’s bite and integrity by championing the bold and adventurous movements within and around it. With The Sunset Sessions, we get a taste of that.
