Darryl King- KingdtheDj
An experienced multi genre dj and producer for over 20+ years of providing crowd delight to all ethnic groups and ages. KingdtheDj first got the Dj bug in 1984 listening to Chicago's first dj mixshow featuring The Hot Mix 5. The sounds of disco, funk, soul, electro, and the birth of house music amazed his ears and sent chills down his spine. The first piece of gear he gathered to take on the craft of djing would be a gemini mixer, a boom box with a cassette and his mother's belt driven Zenith turntable. He mastered his craft by practicing hours and hours each day after school. After getting his skills up to standards he provided many a tone master mixtapes for fans leading up to basement parties in his neighborhood and making a name for himself. After he finally got himself at least one Technics SL1200 at college he borrowed a fellow college mates 1200 to go on to be the sole music provider of all parties in 1986 and 1987 on the campus of Loyola University including frat parties and sports celebrations.
During the late 80's and early 90's he got the producers, beat making bug to create his own music making house and hip hop beats. In 1991 he would go on to solely produce and guide his group of rappers called King D. & The Struggle Unit to make a street cult classic for Chicago titled "Englewood". Google it
KingdtheDj now djs for clubs, lounges and the mobile market to be one of the diverse djs on the planet. There is simply not a crowd he can't rock, limitations are none. KingdtheDj is known for rocking residencies on Chicago's Southside and Northwest Indiana.
Currently he is working on an EP titled As long As I Grooves, a collection of soulful, jazzy house instrumental grooves.

Born and raised in Chicago’s Englewood community, DJ Doc, aka Clarence Hosea, is a DJ, producer and re-mixer who became interested in music at the age of six. As a result of this curiosity, he developed his craft in his parents’ basement using a Realistic tape player and a Board of Education record player. 
His influences was DJ and producer, Farley Keith Williams who was a member of the Hot Mix 5 DJ team, appeared at the Warehouse club and had residency at the Playground. 
During his thirty years as a DJ he has covered various styles and genres, although his passion is and will always be house music. His accomplishments include Blazeline Entertainment, multiple albums on ITunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, Spotifly and E Music. 
His latest projects included DJ Doc presents Disco Demand Volume 1, House People the Album Volume 2 and Edit Addictz the Album Volume 1. He is currently affiliated with the Status 1 Djs and you can always find him diligently working in the studio.
