As a fiction writer and MC I tend to lean towards storytelling and imagery when I write music, and I’ve worked on this album for over 2 years.  It’s a concept record using the 1976 iconic satire NETWORK to tell a story of Power, both what gaining it brings and what it can cause.  Production wise it’s on the more electronic side with production handled by my producer out of Chicago (where we met) and born in Ghana MUTT.  

	During a time when people in America are angry and frustrated with the current system in place as well as the value the media now holds and the lack of truth found in it, I think that this record happened to be completed at a perfect time and shows how much life can imitate art by the relevance of this great film today.  This record isn’t just to get MY story across, but it is also to pay respect to a fantastic film that really does stand the test of time.

Jack hill comes from a place where rugged drums and jagged piano lines trace the narrative of homegrown hip-hop tracks. His early tracks provide a rustic backdrop for chicagoland rhymesayers, matching the soul of the flow instrumentally.

Years later, his palette has expanded into a range of shapes and colors. Often rooted in hip-hip (but not always), his  interest in experimental landscapes has contorted his vision into something personal and unquestionably resonant. His tunes are both direct and embossed in chaos, demented and inviting simultaneously.

His music doesnt fit squarely into any genre, as the influences are widely varied. His architectural approach is the element that casts his work in such a unique light. His tracks intrigue the ear to the point that begs the question: will the music itself come undone, or will the listener?
