Myron Elkins had a very different life about 7 years ago. He was a fulltime welder in his hometown of Otsego Michigan. But thanks to the interest of Dave Cobb, he went from welder to fulltime musician real quick. Myron recorded his first album with Dave titled "Factories, Farms & Amphetamines", but not long after the record was released Dave stepped down from the record label, and the record label released Myron. But that didn't stop Myron from writing and recording a blistering sophomore album titled "Nostalgia for Sale" last month. Before heading off to Spain for some shows Myron was nice enough to stop by the show! Doc and Myron talk about playing in Spain, playing with Willie Nelson, getting started in music, being from Otsego, being a Detroit Lions fan, working with Dave Cobb, finding new places to record, working in Memphis, new albums and so much more! Meanwhile on the rest of the show, Doc is tired of feeds, and Mike goes 0'fer on birthday suits.

Steve Trevino has been doing stand-up as his career for the last 28 years! It hasn't been easy along the way. He had his first special in 2012 on Showtime called Grandpa Joe's Son. then in 2014 he funded his own special Relatable that he ultimately sold to Netflix. His most recent special Simple Man has racked up millions of views on Netflix. Over the last 28 years he's learned to tune out the "industry" and focus on making his viewers laugh. Steve is currently on the Good Life Tour and was nice enough to stop by the Doc G Show! Doc, Mike and Steve, talk about starting out in comedy, finding Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy, getting a showtime special, creating his own Netflix Special, going viral on social media, coaching his kid's sports, new special material and much more! Doc and Jared talk about Jared becoming a father, the passing of Ozzy, one of Zakk Wylde's best solos, working out, going to Studio 606 to record his new album, recording with Mark Morton, writing songs for the new album and much more. In that time he’s had to 40 hits, he’s released 4 studio albums, he’s got married, he had a catastrophic stroke on stage due to a congenital health issue, he’s had 2 kids, he’s toured around the world, and he’s not anywhere close to being done! He just released a group of covers called “Scattered, Smothered Covers”. And he played some shows in Florida! He was nice enough to stop by the show! Doc and Drake talk about playing different sized arenas, becoming a dad for the second time, playing Roanoke for the first time after his stroke, deciding to release covers, new music and much more! UB40 is one of the most famous reggae bands in the entire world and they've been performing for over 4 decades! Jimmy Brown was one of the founding members back in 1978. They got their big break when they opened for The Pretenders in 1979. They hit international success with Red Red Wine and Can't Help Falling in Love. They're going across America with the Relentless tour, and before it started Jimmy was nice enough to stop by the show! Doc and Jimmy talk about time off from touring, weed in Humboldt county, Ozzy's connection to Birmingham, Stevie Wonder's impact on the band, touring with the Pretender's, recording their first album and so much more!
