Predominently street based, his high energy style makes for a rap flow with a difference. Playboy Hash, founding member of Tha Team, has been performing in the urban scene since the age of 16. Influenced by both Eastcoast and Westcoast rap since young, one cannot define his rap style as either or. Modern Slang is your favorite band's favorite new band. Founded in Memphis, TN (known for its rock, rhythm and blues) in a time of heavily over-produced music, Modern Slang is keepin' it nitty-gritty in the River City. Their music is laden with catchy choruses and raw riffs. The sound is reminiscent of an era when Rock N' Roll was in your face and unapologetic. It's been said, "If the Rolling Stones and The Stooges had a bastard child, it would be Modern Slang." The band has played all around their hometown and is currently booking out of state gigs. Modern Slang is fronted by Jaeci King, a demon on the stage and angel on the mic. Kris Sharp clashes blues and classic rock with his Les Paul.
