Mack Jones is a collaboration between the artists Poe Mack and Case Jones. The friendship between the two began in 1997 as they shared a mutual passion for hip hop. That friendship merged into the hip hop duo in 2003, marking 10 years for the two recording, performing, touring, and hosting several shows and charity events together. Now under the label and management of Makin’ Cake, Mack Jones is back in the booth recording. Since the creation of Mack Jones, both artists have entertained solo careers that include several EP’s, LP’s, mixtapes, and mixes. During Poe Mack’s solo ventures Case Jones stepped in as Poe’s DJ and continued the partnership. The pair epitomize what is known as the American Independent Artist.
 
Poe Mack is a native of Salem, VA, and has been driven by his love for hip hop as far back as he can recall. From a bloodline with musicians covering multiple generations, Poe naturally chose the path for himself.  Not only an artist, he produces, records, and engineers his own music. Poe has also organized and performed in three different tours spanning eight states within the past three years.
 
Case Jones, hailing from the Bronx, NY, now a resident of Cloverdale, VA, Case Jones is not only known to set a mic on fire as an Emcee, he’s also known for Dj’ing, hosting, and mixtapes. As a tour Dj, Case Jones can also be found behind the tables on the 1's and 2's. After a hiatus from recording to return to his DJ'ing roots, Case Jones is back on the mic grinding out hits with his gritty authentic hip hop sound.
 
Both Poe and Case have performed along the East coast from Manhattan, NY to Charleston, SC. Touching down in cities such as DC, Richmond, Roanoke, Virginia Beach, VA, Charleston, WV, Winston-Salem , Wilmington, Charlotte, and Raleigh NC, and Atlanta, GA. Sharing the stage with the likes of  Keith Murray, Sean Price, Big Daddy Kane, Kaze, Ill Bill, King Mez, T.I., Rapper Big Pooh, Lost Boyz, and Rustee Juxx, Rapsody with 9th Wonder, Lil Scrappy, Kendrick Lamar, and a long list of Independent artists.
