With his hits 'The voice of Dru' and the '2 know U' EP on Exploited Doctor Dru earned respect and backslapping from the biggest names of the scene. Since then the journey has started and led him around the globe touring all continents. He spread the voice of dru in the well renown clubs around and gained much love for his adrenalizing sets. But a busy schedule doesn´t mean a special outcome: we are happy to finally have him back for our 13th release on JEUDI Records.

If you feel like that there is time for your dancing feet to have a portion of propellent beats you should hear what this track is telling you. Skyrocket sounds coated with sensitive words told in an outer space could be the right sweeping emotion you will get from this deep technoid groover. Chaim is a true stand out artist in today's fast paced electronic music world. Known not only for his works for Bpitch control and his collabos with Guy Gerber. His unique and organic sound was always amongst the crews favourites. Needless to say we are so looking forward to finally release this huge EP we have been playing since last summer constantly for the magic moments. “Safe Word” has been a much sought after tune in our mixes and shows already. It underpins his special hand for shaping this unique mix of classic Chicago house infused sound topped by hypnotic, dubby synth scapes. Who ever has heard him play and was grabbed by the unique magic in his sets will absolutely love this one. 

The second original “Sun Tease” is definately the trippy one. Some serious dub in here but still with the right vibe for the house music floor melting to one trip of a tune. The originals are coming with some tasteful reworks. “Safe Word” remixed by the installation artist and musician Deniz Kurtel who came to fame by her outstanding tune “The L Word ft. Jada“ on Crosstown Rebels. She’s absolutely picking up the trippiness of the whole release with her work. As well as JEUDI’s own Bambook partnering up with Miami’s Quina delivering a beauty in perfection mirroring their outstanding production skills and taste . Last contribution is coming from JEUDI label honcho Doctor Dru who picked “Sun Tease” and edited a cut only adding a little of his Dru flavour which just teases the peak time.

Dru’s last so well received output on his homebase JEUDI records was “Savannah” and “Praerie”. A contribution to the endless wilderness of the african and american grass fields. 

This year he was reflecting about the joy of existence and what might be the slowest way to travel Egypt. Which curiously lead to the steadily developing funkyish stomper “Mind Parade”. 
It’s ever evolving 5th line synth and poetry philosophising about joy leads into a dense, feverish drop built to shake your existence. This tune is touching the peak time with pure but sublte power.

“Egypt Express” is the romantic imagination of travelling Egypt. A pulsating sequence is carrying you through the journey. Maybe at the camp for the night you took a drag of this pipe and the synth sequence suddenly turns into a psychodelic adventure. But no reason to worry; the pulse is keeping it together and is turning your trip into a ride of joy.

This time from Hamburg based DJ & Producer Doctor Dru whose debut on Exploited was the collaboration 'Juicy Fruit' with partners Adana Twins.
With 'The Voice of Dru' Doctor Dru created a modern take on a classic italo track which - within a few days - became a Beatport Top 10 Hit and was sitting comfortably on Deephouse No.1 for weeks.
The Track got love from Solomun, to Pete Tong, Soul Clap, Tim Sweeney and many more.
It's been the break-through joint for Dru.
Since then he is touring the world and gained much love for his adrenalizing sets.
Whenever he drops the 'The Voice of Dru' people go crazy. We are happy to finally present Dru's second solo-release on Exploited.

Doctor Dru has established himself to one of the key proponents of contemporary house music. With a rich, multi-layered history, which permeates into his present output; DJing, working as a drummer, running his own label JEUDI Records, composing for other acts and, of course, producing his own emotive, wistful signature tracks that have cemented his reputation as a purveyor of the finest in deep house music. 

Years of deep musical knowledge are reinterpreted into his electronic productions, fueled by his dedication to beats, rhythms and melodies, which began long before his first eighties records got their groove going on. Dru`s scores of machines were fiddled with, investigated and pushed to their limits.
But what about putting soul and smoothness into machines? And when Bootsy Collins asks you to produce his single? Well, you produce like you’re in funk heaven of course. From 2011 Dru conceived modern-day classic edits such as “Juicy Fruit” and “Anymore”. His interpretation “The Voice of Dru” hit the nerve of the time back then and established Doctor Dru as one of the deep house movement’s main players. Being a number one charted artist over the course of several months placed him on the right musical path. In Dru's following output you saw him more stretching out, showing his diversity of productions between the house and techno genre. His very own authentic fingerprint which found so many fans around the globe you can find e.g in “The Pattern” or the in 2017 so well acclaimed track “Prärie”. 

The big club and festival doors opened and traveling the globe has led to him representing at some of the world’s most lauded venues such as Warung Beach Club (Brazil), ZigZag (Paris), Destino and Ushuaia (Ibiza), Watergate (Berlin), Revolver Club (Melbourne), Treehouse (Miami), Loveland Festival (Amsterdam) and a many more.
While being busy with touring and tune tinkering, Dru also cultivated his own label JEUDI Records, which was founded with his mates Davidé and Takeiteasy. Based on a tightly-knit family ethos Jeudi Records gives Dru a platform where he is able to truly express his love of music and to A&R new talent from around the globe. The label was established in 2010 and continues to be influential and forward-thinking in its approach.

So there you have it, Doctor Dru’s devout love of electronic music combined with his years of experience and unerring will to roll out the very best tunes full of substance and dancefloor appeal are the key elements that form the foundation of his career. The constant aim: simply to stimulate both body and mind through his love for synthesizers!
With more new music and a whole lot more touring to come, a steady tide of other hugely intense tracks has continued to flow out of Dru’s studio.
