The conceptual brainchild of Turkish-born, Barcelona-based DJ and producer, ELIF @elifmusique, Marginalia is a new home for largely undiscovered electronic artists to express their unbridled creativity within a framework of absolute sonic freedom. Established as a platform to support, nurture and develop the incredible output of the producers whose music forms the backbone of ELIF's DJ sets worldwide, Marginalia represents a forward-thinking community that looks to discover and bolster the profiles of the hardest working – often least rewarded – individuals in the music industry; individuals without whom the scene’s ecosystem would collapse entirely.

A safe haven for the organic development and progress of artistic creativity
and intellectual collaboration, the concept of Marginalia itself dates back to the 11th Century and references the wildly inventive notes, markings, doodles and sketches made in the margins of medieval books and scriptures — a place where the human imagination was free to run wild.

“Whether we are aware of it or not, one of the fundamental ways we all digest what we read, hear, see and experience is to absorb the thoughts, musings and broken fragments of others”, says ELIF. “It’s these very fragments that help us connect ideas and spur critical thinking, and it perfectly represents the type of creative dialogue I’m looking to achieve with Marginalia”.

Reflecting Ben’s own outlook, that is fun-loving and never too serious, Eternal Sunshine is exactly as the name suggests - an outlet rooted in the feelgood sensations you get when it’s sunny. As one half of the iconic Adana Twins, Ben has established his credentials as a selector, producer and label owner/A&R. Eternal Sunshine marks his next big step as a solo artist, delving deep into the music he loves, and giving him the space and freedom to combine his beloved house music with a range of styles that are personal to him.
 
Ben’s heartbeat pumps to the rhythm of nineties hip hop and RnB, it’s food for his soul and provides the inspiration to much of the music he produces. It was a golden era, pre-internet, yet still so immersed in technology. The roots of his sound are embedded in that special time and the energy of the nineties reverberates through his compositions. He describes it as a fire that burns inside him, the need to channel the vibrations of that era, with those genres at the forefront of his creative ambitions.
 
It’s high-energy rave music, which will ignite dance floors and provide Ben with a personalised blank canvas within which he can experiment with the music that inspires him. Sparrow & Barbossa is a Madrid-based DJ and producer duo formed by the Swiss Bryan Coletta and the Uruguayan Emiliano Haberli.
Bryan is a pianist born to a musician's family; his father is the legendary guitarist Francis Coletta who worked with artists like Whitney Houston, Quincy Jones, and Frank Sinatra. 
Emiliano was born and raised in Uruguay, a region dominated by African colonials, and was widely influenced by 'The Culture Of Candombe,' a pure African tribal rhythm from colonialism.

Since a very young age, Bryan has been inspired by Soul, Jazz, and Funk, which he uses in his creations with a remarkable capacity for improvisation and versatility. Emiliano embarked on his music career when he moved to Europe in 2004, where he connected with the electronic music scene of Madrid. He played drums in night clubs where he met DJ Chus for the first time, working with him as a percussionist on Chus & Joeski's classic track 'El Amor.'

Bryan and Emiliano created a fusion between organic instruments and electronic sounds. Their age difference has a positive influence on both their releases and performance. While Bryan brings the freshness of modern sounds and melodies, Emiliano fine-tunes the rhythmic part and builds up his knowledge throughout the years. Globe-trotters, who're true lovers of ethnic and lost cultures, are devoted to transmitting this legacy through electronic music.

Sparrow & Barbossa's production debut came in 2018 with their version of Mory Kante's classic 'Yeke' released on Wired Records. The track became a #1 Afro House record. In 2020, they released 'Nterini,' a remix for Fatoumata Diawara's on MoBlack Records that became a #2 Afro House Record with around 2 million plays on Spotify.

DJ Chus's Label, Redolent Music, released Sparrow & Barbossa's debut album 'Seven Seas' in 2021, featuring starring collaborations with Mo'Horizon 'Quango Te Veo' also released on Stereo Mcs label, Connected Frontline. Dele Sosimi, Floyd Lavine, Josh Milan, Francis Coletta, Idd Aziz, and DJ Chus with 'Nyakua' became a #1 Afro House single on Traxsource and reached over 1 million plays on Spotify. 'Morena,' also included in the Album, became an Ibiza Anthem thanks to the Keinemusik crew, Adam Port, &Me, and Rampa, their strongest supporters.
The Album was a milestone setting a new course in Sparrow & Barbossa's career. They aim to transmit ancient cultures' roots and democratize World Music through Electronica with a House Music core and are all about Organic, Latin, Deep, and Afro Electronic Dance Music.

2022, in a time of frenetic worldwide overture traveling the world around and spreading the musical message of this 'Infamous-Afro-Latin-House-Pirates Duo, and right after the global Pandemic, they started running their own record label, Tortuga Tribes, giving a voice and a home to a whole community of artists and musicians from all Latin America, under the flag of the Caribbean House Music.

Sony Music Latin Label Orianna is releasing Sparrow & Barbossa's second album 'Réciprocité.' In 2023, featuring performers such as Starving Yet Full (Hungry For The Power), Maria De Moraes (Vinicius de Moraes' Daughter), Phindile Ndlovu (Lion King) and remixers such as Monkey Safari, Boddhi Satva, Manoo, Amine K and DJ Chus amongst others.

Doctor Dru has established himself to one of the key proponents of contemporary house music. With a rich, multi-layered history, which permeates into his present output; DJing, working as a drummer, running his own label JEUDI Records, composing for other acts and, of course, producing his own emotive, wistful signature tracks that have cemented his reputation as a purveyor of the finest in deep house music. 

Years of deep musical knowledge are reinterpreted into his electronic productions, fueled by his dedication to beats, rhythms and melodies, which began long before his first eighties records got their groove going on. Dru`s scores of machines were fiddled with, investigated and pushed to their limits.
But what about putting soul and smoothness into machines? And when Bootsy Collins asks you to produce his single? Well, you produce like you’re in funk heaven of course. From 2011 Dru conceived modern-day classic edits such as “Juicy Fruit” and “Anymore”. His interpretation “The Voice of Dru” hit the nerve of the time back then and established Doctor Dru as one of the deep house movement’s main players. Being a number one charted artist over the course of several months placed him on the right musical path. In Dru's following output you saw him more stretching out, showing his diversity of productions between the house and techno genre. His very own authentic fingerprint which found so many fans around the globe you can find e.g in “The Pattern” or the in 2017 so well acclaimed track “Prärie”. 

The big club and festival doors opened and traveling the globe has led to him representing at some of the world’s most lauded venues such as Warung Beach Club (Brazil), ZigZag (Paris), Destino and Ushuaia (Ibiza), Watergate (Berlin), Revolver Club (Melbourne), Treehouse (Miami), Loveland Festival (Amsterdam) and a many more.
While being busy with touring and tune tinkering, Dru also cultivated his own label JEUDI Records, which was founded with his mates Davidé and Takeiteasy. Based on a tightly-knit family ethos Jeudi Records gives Dru a platform where he is able to truly express his love of music and to A&R new talent from around the globe. The label was established in 2010 and continues to be influential and forward-thinking in its approach.

So there you have it, Doctor Dru’s devout love of electronic music combined with his years of experience and unerring will to roll out the very best tunes full of substance and dancefloor appeal are the key elements that form the foundation of his career. The constant aim: simply to stimulate both body and mind through his love for synthesizers!
With more new music and a whole lot more touring to come, a steady tide of other hugely intense tracks has continued to flow out of Dru’s studio.

Bio:
Reezar is a Venice-born, Barcelona-based artist known for weaving hypnotic grooves and emotive textures into captivating DJ sets. His musical identity took shape early, digging into his father’s vinyl collection and absorbing the timeless sounds of the ’80s and ’90s. After earning his stripes in Venice’s underground scene, he relocated to Barcelona, where his dynamic energy behind the decks secured a long-standing residency at Macarena Club and led him to co-found Kósmic, a growing brand for deep and forward-thinking electronic music.

His sound moves fluidly from the city’s most iconic venues to global hotspots like London, Ibiza, Marrakech, and Berlin’s legendary Sisyphos always delivering a deep, driving spirit that resonates with diverse dancefloors around the world.
