KevNight, real name Kevin Nightingale, is a producer/sound engineer from Nottingham, UK. His music has been described as a mixture of new age House breaks with an Electronica influence and have seen his productions appear on various radio stations and compilation albums around the world.

KevNight’s music production began in 2007 when he began DJing. Starting only as a hobby, he began to recognise the production techniques in his favourite Dance tracks and started to create his own breaks and loops. This spawned a great interest in writing music and in 2009 Kevnight began to study Music and Sonic Arts in Nottingham.

In 2009 during his studies, KevNight’s ‘Escape’ appeared on local radio station ‘Sherwood’ and the record was voted number 1 in October’s ‘MyMusicSteam’ charts.

Then during early 2010 Kevnight’s next record ‘Acclimatised’ was signed to Asia’s PureSubstance Records and was released later that year. It appeared on the album ‘Underground Sound of Substance’ and gave KevNight a global audience.

Now in 2011 KevNight has been working on a new EP and various other projects. His Dub-step remix of an early House track he wrote has appeared on the Dutch compilation album ‘Best of Dub vol 1’ which has been mixed by Dj Safrole and he will also be realising his new single shortly ‘Momentary Thought’ which will feature Remix’s from HybridAudio and many more.
