Biography:
Greg Murray & The Seven Wonders fuses the twang of Irish-Americana, latino, and ‘death country’ with brash and anthemic choruses soaring into the sky.  With the help of rousing guitars, keys and brass, you are taken on a roller-coaster ride from beautiful heart-torn ballads to sublime ethereal harmony laden, majestic choruses filled with life affirming spiritual positivity.

The entirely Northern Irish Grrg Murray writes the lyrics and melodies, plays the guitar and sings.  He has recruited a great bunch of close friends with a wonderful array of talent to join him put his songs onto the world’s musical map.

This is original music played by a gang of friends who want you to listen, get involved and feel the positive emotion that is put into each and every song.

"I did a load of festivals this summer and stumbled across the good, the bad and the rubbish. One band i did see however were truly wonderful. I was at Festival No.6 and was getting ready to see Grumbling Fur – for some reason i was early, don’t ask me why as i don’t really know myself… Anyway i walked into what looked like a town hall and came across a bunch of young things tearing it up. All i really remember to be honest was a stick like singer screaming into a microphone and a girl playing the keyboards like it was both the first and last time she would ever do such a thing. I asked around and found out the band were called Hot Vestry…Is that a good name? Who cares…"

I am a sound artist, anthropologist, radio producer, and music blogger currently based in Belfast. My sound pieces explore relations between the sense of place/space, materiality, memory, and spatiality in electroacoustic music. I also create multi-channel compositions, installations, and performances in immersive settings. In my work sounds are generated through computer-based synthesis, Eurorack modules, found objects, hacked electronic toys, field recordings, and algorithmic processes.

The Dunes have quickly gained a reputation in Adelaide as the town's leading Psych-Drone-Gaze band, incorporating haunting guitar lines with reverb-drenched vocals, fuzzed out bass and 60s inspired keys. 2015 saw the release of the mini-EP BAD:LANDS and single WHEN YOU WAKE UP, 2016 with the single MOUNTAIN, and 2018 (JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT BEING FOLLOWED DOESN'T MEAN YOU'RE NOT) PARANOID off their soon to be released full length album on Off The Hip (AU) and Oak Island (EU). These songs capture the bands true live sound; extended jams and repetitive noise that opens the mind and expands the consciousness. The Dunes are Stacie Reeves, Matt Reiner, Adam Vanderwerf, Brett Walter, Jess Honeychurch and Clair O'Boyle.
