Wait, what? A new Quince? Call the newspapers! It has been YEARS since the Dutch techno producer from Utrecht found the peace of mind to actually release something. In fact, the Anthology of Interest EP on the illustrious NOWHERE series is his first proper record in eight years. His daytime job as a medic kept him rather occupied. You might remember those times when there was a pandemic around?

We missed Quince, even though his sound is rather timeless. Fluid Detroit infused techno with pulsating rhythms, alluring keyboard stabs and sultry basslines, like on Ghost In The Machine and the extremely funky The Butterjunk Effect.

Opening track Meanwhile has that hazy peak time feel you love so much while dancing with your eyes closed. But the winner of this very versatile EP may just be Space Pilot 3000. A futuristic and jumpy electro-track where the worlds of Drexciya and Juan Atkins collide in a blinding orange supernova. Can someone call a doctor!

Natural consequence is a key phrase for Brussels-born DJ @kimkenis. 
Raised by a drummer, it’s no coincidence that she easily stays in time as she strings together gems from along the genre spectrum. Known and loved as someone who pretty much can’t stop dancing once she starts, it was only a matter of time before she channeled this endurance behind the decks.

The Athens-based DJ and producer took her path in electronic music in 2018. She co-manages #HER, dedicated to empowering gender minorities in the electronic music scene. 

As a producer she started producing music for visual art projects and trailers and released her first techno tracks and remixes on labels such as Underdub Records, OSM Tapes and Nomad Species. 

Her sets and tracks always have a story to tell; hovering among fast-paced BPMs, heavier basses and grooves, VRGN aims to create different emotional states with her work.

We came across VRGN seeing her perform at @sixdogsgr in Athens putting on a strong performance and we are happy to have her on the series. Go and enjoy one and a half hours of a proper workout by the artist.

Co-finder of Society 3000, ICARUS IN LOVE is an active member of Athens electronic music scene, counts 3 Eps, 2 VA contributions and an album on USM recordings. He also appears frequently in most of the city's clubs, as well as, he has performed in clubs of Berlin ://About Blank, AEDEN and more. 
In this ANOMIA episode 011, ICARUS IN LOVE delivers one hour out of many unreleased tracks of his latest work and of course, some of his latest released tracks like EPANAFORA (Diffuse Reality), MIRAGE (NFR030).
