Coreysan is a Bristol based/Trinidad born musician and producer who describes his music as Alternative Caribbean Music.

 Driving electronic soundscapes, soulfully earthy bass work, raspy, soothing vocals and a storyteller approach to his lyrical compositions, reminiscent of Calypso, all combine to give his music a rootsy, thought provoking, bass driven and mysterious flavour.

Coreysan started his musical journey in 1987 in Trinidad where he performed as a session bassist in many popular and underground bands over the years.
He has self released 2 full length albums and 2 EPs since his debut as  Coreysan in 2004.

He continues to collaborate as a vocalist/song writer and session bassist from his new home in Bristol with many local and UK based groups and producers of various styles of music which helps to bring even more diversity to his solo project.
He also tours extensively around the world as the bassist and backing vocalist  for Calypso Rose, the reigning Queen of Calypso Music.

Coreysan has been a musician/artist for over 28 years, performing as a solo musician and as a bassist/vocalist with various top bands in Trinidad including 3 Canal, Mungal Patasar, Calypso Rose, Oddfellows Local, Jointpop, Kin Sound System, Gyazette, Kindred and many more. 

Coreysan is also a pioneer of the live electronic music scene in his homeland being the first musician to bring a computer to the stage as an instrument with his band Atheleny (2000-2004) and then with his solo project Coreysan (2006 – present).

Coreysan has performed a solo artist internationally at MMC12 (Millennium Music Conference, Pennsylvania, USA) 2008, The Coben 2008 (London, UK), SXSW 2009 (South by Southwest, Texas, USA), The South Bank Centre 2010 and 2012 (Bristol, UK), The Croft 2012 (Bristol, UK) and The Attic 2012 (Bristol, UK). 
 
As a session bassist/vocalist with Mungal Patasar, 3 Canal and more so with the Queen of Calypso Music, Calypso Rose, Coreysan has been touring and performing for the past 5 years at major world festivals like Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), Womex Festival (Spain), Lincoln Center (New York, USA), Womad Festival (UK, Australia and New Zealand), Timitar and Mawazine Festivals (Morocco), Paleo Festival (Switzerland), Sakifo Musik Festival (Reunion Island) and Musique a Manosque
Festival (France) just to name a few.

« O'Brien » est le nom donné à l'expression musicale du guitariste Clément Peyronnet. C'est un motif de rencontres scéniques. On trouve des compositions personnelles dans lesquelles on peut sentir les influences diverses qui l'ont traversé ces dernières années. Jimi Hendrix, Ennio Morricone, Robert Fripp, Christian Vander, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Miles Davis, Jean Sebastien Bach, Robert Johnson, Wendy Carlos, Rossini, Franck Zappa...sont des artistes qui ont profondément bouleversé et nourri son imaginaire sonore et ses processus d'écritures.
 La spiritualité du travail artistique invite l'auditeur loin de la performance, pour tenter de vivre l'universalité du vivant dans son tout. C'est donc décomplexés et désinhibés que les sentiments sont proposés simplement à l'image d'une musique populaire, organisés comme de la musique savante, mais aussi naïvement accidentés. Chaque concert diffère de par son répertoire constamment en évolution et de par ses adaptations aux musiciens invités... C'est donc la vicissitude et l'instabilité, créatrices de vitalité, qui sont cultivées.

BOMBAY // Show Your Teeth

Dutch indie rock trio Bombay return with long-awaited sophomore LP Show Your Teeth. 

The album’s title couldn't be a more fitting description of Bombay's next musical chapter. After two years of restless experimenting with lo-fi equipment and nineties rock influences, the group experienced a sense of disharmony, and a musical transformation had to take place. As a result Linda van Leeuwen has passed the torch to Lisa Ann Jonker.
Multi-instrumentalist Mathias Janmaat remains the group's driving creative force. Naturally, his writing became influenced by these circumstances: Show Your Teeth feels more introspective than acclaimed predecessor Vulture / Provider, adding an expanding sonic palette and emotional depth to their sound.  
Bittersweet opener Dolly Doesn't Want To Face The Facts shimmers like some kind of hazy dystopian sunset, recalling fellow pop dissidents MGMT, Phoenix and Gorillaz. Centre-piece Slow Motion unleashes lust for life energy through its rave-like floor tom beats and jarring post-punk guitars. The ramshackle nineties grunge track Bored obtusely touches base with writer's block and apathy.  

Even if there appears to be more of a weightiness to Bombay's music, it never meddles with the band's ability to come up with instantly appealing pop hooks. Gold Rush's suspenseful gloom and Bleach's uncanny space boogie still bring this undeniable immediacy. Bombay's newfangled songwriting smarts reach their peak with double-dealing closer Lighten The Low. Languid, detached guitar lines and devil-may-care vocals become frenetically at odds with the simmering, majestic chorus.  
Following the release of their eclectic garage pop debut, their explosive live shows gained notoriety across the globe, captivating audiences in small clubs and larger venues alike. The band's wanderlust has been rewarded with slots at Best Kept Secret (Netherlands), Dour (Belgium), Reeperbahn (Germany), La Vieilles Charrues (France), SXSW (US), and The Great Escape (UK).

Rejuvenated and ready to show their teeth, Bombay have become a more dynamic stage spectacle than ever before.

Bomba Titinka is the name of a project whose goal is to unite an international audience by bringing the magical formula of electronic digital music to the stage and combining it with talented musicians from the Swing scene.
Bomba Titinka is the collaborative product of Ludovica Signorelli and Dario Mattoni (contrabass and guitar), who are partners both onstage and in life; both have been playing for years in the underground rock n roll and vintage music scenes where they have developed the fierce instincts of entertainers as well as a sixth sense for contagious refrains. Their world, however, began to feel confining and inspired them to move in a new direction toward electro swing, which could accommodate the expressive and compositional needs of Dario (Mr Bricks) and Ludovica (a.k.a. Wanda Lazzarovich), thus enabling them to bring their concert audience to a dance floor dimension. You can’t miss the trumpet playing of Marco Indino or the electro jazz drumming of Elijah Sommacal, bot of whom are talented musicians trained in jazz. But just who exactly is hiding behind the electronic machine? We’re ready to introduce you to our new band member, who was present at Prague at the Electroswing Bohemia, decided to join the project as an official member: DJ Bisso, for whom “scratching” is synonymous with dancing.
Who are their influences? Buscaglione, Renato Carosone, swing musicians from the Golden Age such as Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway, and Italian songwriters (e.g. Domenico Modugno).
Bomba Titinka have been on tour since 2014 with Ludwig Sound from Germany, the top European electro swing agency: Bomba Titinka started out with a bang, winning over Italian audiences, those attending international festivals, such as Bestival, in the Isle of Wight; the 3000 Grad Festival in Germany, and other events in France, Austria, England, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic. And it would be impossible
not to remember the extraordinary opening of Parov Stelar’s (the Godfather of electro swing) concert at the Gran Teatro Geox in Padua.
The German label Chin Chin Records’ first EP “Bicycle”, released in 2015, is available on all digital download platforms and comes with 2 official video clips on YouTube. The 2016 Tour will launch the release of their new album.
