DoG HeaDed SpiRiTs
presents their album «Sirius Connexion»
a psychedelic rock pop LP of eleven
original songs. This duo formed of Kira
White and Kheri Sherpa, both guitarist
singer songwriters, is reaching out for new
dimensions with this soul shaking second
release.
With catchy guitar riffs, strong keys and
meaningful lyrics, many songs are hit
oriented. As in their previous recordings
every tune has it’s own universe
and story line.
Kira White is american and english,
she was raised in a bohemian artistic
family. As a child she lived in different
countries such as the United States,
Switzerland, France and Spain.
Kheri Sherpa is nepali/tibetan
and scottish. His father was
a climber from the Sherpa
tribe in the Everest region of
northern Nepal. He died in a
mountain expedition in the
Himalayas two months before
Kheri’s birth.
With their two electric guitars the DoG
HeaDed SpiRiTs are currently showcasing
their new material around London. Their live
shows are like a journey through a magical
landscape.
These two charismatic artists are
surrounded by areas of mystery. Their sultry
voices convey strong intention, their playing
is organic, sensual and a sense of danger
ripples through their music.
Having led a nomadic life traveling the
world throughout their childhood, they
retain a curiosity for all cultures. They take
inspiration from all that life deals out to us
as a whole, from the streets to high places.
Their concern and love for humanity is a
leading theme and what seems to inspire
their songs of faith.
They share love and respect for such artists
as Nina Simone, David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix,
Bob Marley and many others !
