We walk together through the deserted room. Nothing here now but at its peak this was a hive; something for someone, nothing to no one. Funny how things can change, decay is everywhere but is no less shocking nonetheless.

The wind hisses, the surface dust dances, your vision blurs and skin prickles. The dubby sounds of DJ Swagger have taken over and inhabited this place, breathing through the walls they set forward a chain reaction of activity. Perhaps this place is palatable, no desireable after all.

This week we will see ODR receive a mix that is oriented on creating a unique ambiance and curated by a producer who in our opinion deserves some more attention: @abeab. Hailing from Twin Cities, Beab sets the perfect atmosphere with this mellow blend of lofi house, deep house and some hypnagogic techno tracks. He has also included some of his own unreleased work on which we soon can hopefully report more! Definitely one to watch out for as you are strolling down the boulevards of Bay City!

So, here we are. An insanely annoying and devastating year goes to an end and I can’t say I’m mad about it. It brought loss, tragedy, and tremendous hardship to many of our doorsteps and my heart goes out to all of you who got hit the hardest. But after all, I can’t help but see the positive side of things and say “thank you!” to all of you who made me keep my sanity in all those months of social distancing and solitude by being amazing artists, DJ’s, musicians, or just a part of this community. May 2021 be a better, brighter, and more social year for all of us!
