'To Bend is to force or to direct anything into a new kind of shape, it can be also a transformation process where we find ourselves doing something over and over again until it gets the form or result we pretend.'

Bending is the first part from these three series of compilations (Bending, Breaking and Blending) that we're currently developing as we intend to be  featuring and compiling musical compositions from different artists all around the world, we're growing a community group (currently working on facebook you can find us by searching 'slowhabits and friends') with the intention of getting artists to know each others work and to have the chance to collaborate on the projects we're currently developing. Bending is mostly our first attempt on discovering music that resonates with soul, that has the ability to relax both mind, body and spirit as our daily lives may get stressful sometimes, music can really become some kind of therapy to those who listen to it and those who make it aswell.
We hope that you have a good listening moment and mostly that you can find inside a deeper meaning for what really means to bend all the energies we have surrounding us, for what really motivates us to keep moving further and to never give up on our beliefs.

'It is important to create a mark on the beginning of anything as in the need to break an inevitability by marking an ending point when things go against your beliefs, yet, the ways you choose to shape reality up the way you think it should be will somehow start affecting you causing imperfections to seem more 'perfect', your taste for what you use to love is now a transition for what you think is love, the passion for merging thoughts and actions to actually synchronise with each one will elevate us to another floor by the meaning when you just have to think as you act accordingly to your believing systems, it is much easier to feel closer to something.
Art, people, music and all the energy around what's truly a fulfilment purpose will lead you to thrive, to succeed in life even on things that aren't considered the most important to them, matters what means the most to you and if it is shared, the better.
It is important to know that what drives you to repeat patterns is only a few fragments of what you missing or achieving as time goes by while we keep growing up, when everything's compressing you out to a new transformation, do not deny it, let it take place to occur on its own time as more will keep approaching and pushing you further, closer to become blended.'

DoisPês has been on our radar for a while now, his first contact with Slow Habits has been through our Compilation Series 2019: Bending, Breaking and Blending, where he was truly engaging with us by participating in all three editions, his sound brought attention to our ears since the first listening.  The simplicity of his music reflects his actual state of mind, spirit and life experiences transporting the listener to a cloud of nostalgia, laid back and wavy mood where samples are brought back to life solely combining drum patterns of his own.
