Jazzy B-Boy Dancer "Sons of Miles", who has won numerous awards, will take the lead in calling together dancers of his generation to create a space for "Dancing with Jazz".

「ロウ・ハウス」という言葉が目立つようになった昨今。日本発のレーベル yygrecから発売された前作12inchの「Dirty Channnel」は、NYのアンダーグラウ ンドハウスの雄Joey Anderson にもプレイされ、BLACKOLYという名のとおり、黒煙の如くその存在を国内外の現行ハウスリスナーへアピールした。そして同レーベルから発信される2作目は、さらに危険性を増した全10曲からなるミニマル・ロウ・ハウスアルバムとなっている。 サンプリングの文化を継承し、MPC 2000XLから叩きだされる硬質でタイトなグルーヴは、ハウスファンのみならずヒップホップやダウン・ビート、そしてダブ・パンクとも紙一重に共鳴しつづけ、現行アンダーグラウンドや次世代への示唆に富んだ内容となっている。

DJ、サウンドプロデューサー。2014年にyygrecよりリリースした12inch「Dirty Channel」が国内外問わず様々なDJにプレイされハウスらしからぬ重くスモーキーな次世代的ローグルーヴで異彩を放ちその名を知られるようになる。ダウンビート、アブストラクトHIPHOPをルーツに持ち、それら重く煙たいビートが同時に併せ持つ美しくミニマルな質感をハウスにも見出しハウストラック制作を開始する。過去数々のHIPHOPビートを作り出してきた愛機MPC2000XLを中心に現在のハウ ストラックも制作しそれらバックグラウンドが相まって彼独自なビートに仕上がっている。現在はトラック制作と並行して都内を中心に各地重要パーティーにてライブも展開。

Covid-19の影響で日程延期となっていた”ONE DJ ONE NIGHT”、
Kyoto Metroの無観客配信企画”METRO Streaming”にて配信を予定しておりましたが、4月17日に発表された「緊急事態宣言」全国に拡大の表明を受け中止せざるを得ない状況となりました。しかし止めない。急遽”DoitJAZZ!”のサイトにて自宅から配信する事に致しました。 Kyoto Metro への支援、恐縮ながら DoitJAZZ_KYOTO への寄付のリンクも貼らせて頂きました。一人でどこまで出来るかわかりませんが、この状況での音楽の楽しみ方の一つになれればと思いますので、是非よろしくお願いいたします。

Due to Covid-19, Kyoto METRO’s “ONE DJ ONE NIGHT” had been postponed, but was scheduled to be streamed at Kyoto METRO’s “METRO Streaming”, a non-candidate event.However, due to the “state of emergency” announced on April 17, the event had to be cancelled, and we’ve decided to stream it from our home on the DoitJAZZ!I hope this will be one of the ways to enjoy music in this situation, and I hope you’ll enjoy it.
