Love of Dub pays homage to reggae music & the way it has influenced the world around it. Creating an event that encompasses the message in music & the upfullistic vibe that it brings with it. With no strict music policy, the aim is to showcase music that has grown out and evolved from Jamaica’s golden era in its finest forms.

The project is a collaborative effort between a small group of friends, based in Bristol. Who’s collective aim is to promote peace, love & unity within the dancehall & beyond.

High energy, unhinged, and musically extravagant, taking traditional acoustic idioms and delivering with punk abandonment and virtuosic flare. A dynamic three piece offering a unique sound emerging from Celtic, Gypsy Swing, Roma and Flamenco and tuned in savvy.

Wrapping pan european traditional acoustic music with infectious grooves, epic, pounding, sing along, punch the air anthems to intricately arranged instrumentals. 

Challenging the limitations of what people might expect acoustic instruments to sound like, the use of bowed harmonics between fiddle and bass can be as menacing and eerie as it can be psychedelic and mesmerising. 

Percussion provided by the front man Langan, whilst singing and driving the rythm guitar, he somehow co-ordinates the operating of a cajon and a tambourine with his feet bringing the driving, swinging groove of the rhythm guitar together with his foot percussion resulting in an impressively tight band sound with a tempo that is free to go anywhere. 

Add scorching hot fiddle lines and a guy thumping the groove out a double bass.

Hailing from the vibrant Canadian West, Tyler Martens, widely known as Stickybuds, boasts over two decades of global touring and music excellence. As a premier Canadian export, his excellence on turntables and in the studio has captivated audiences in over 27 countries, gracing iconic festivals such as Shambhala, Envision, Burning Man and Glastonbury.

With a repertoire exceeding 70 label releases and numerous DJ mixes, Stickybuds has woven a sonic tapestry that resonates worldwide. His music has left an indelible mark, featured in blockbuster franchises like Spider-Man and Star Wars, while concurrently blasting out the sound systems of underground scenes and massive festivals.

A fixture at Canada's Shambhala Music Festival for 20 years, Stickybuds has perfected a unique DJ style, blending genres with live turntablism and impeccable selections. His annual Shambhala mixes showcase a fusion of funk, reggae, drum n’ bass, house and broken beats, adorned with exclusive acapellas, his own productions, and custom VIPs.

In 2025, Tyler is embracing his role as a dedicated father and husband, choosing family life over the grind of month-long tours and relentless release schedules. Bedtime stories and raising his young children now take priority, though he still enjoys performing at select festivals and special shows.
