Dance driven future pop that perhaps belongs in a Berlin nightclub circa 2040, Embedded Figures has paved a venomous, dark disco path in the NZ electronic underground before relocating to Melbourne in 2017.

"Minimum Viable Product" (MVP) is an incremental Compilation built over the year by Detonic Recordings.
Each Month an on-line single is published with an "A" and "B" side from each of the international artists participating in the project.
In December the complete compilation will be released on Vinyl featuring the hit from each contributor.

¡Escúchame, Cabrón! is a limited-edition C50 cassette announced for pre-order on International Women's Day and made up exclusively of female artists or groups and collaborations featuring a strong female presence.

The purpose of the release is to bring to light, in our own small way, the systemic violence and oppression of women in Spain and around the world and to highlight the incredible female voices present in industrial and synthwave music today.

Spain is a country close to our hearts. It's a beautiful, historic, energetic and culturally-rich nation. Today, the problems women have to face in a society that is generally a privileged population are completely unnecessary. Problems such as being cross-examined in rape trials, gang rape cases being downgraded to sexual assault and an abundance of domestic violence. An average of one woman in killed by her partner per week.

In 2017 Spanish courts received more than 166,000 gender violence complaints against woman - a 16% increased on the year before. Spain is certainly not an exception. Some national studies show that up to 70 per cent of women have experienced physical and/or sexual violence from an intimate partner in their lifetime.

"The idea behind this song was to create an audiovisual 'musique concrète' piece with the sounds of skateboarding. Skateboarding from a sound design perspective is interesting because it turns the skateboard into a musical instrument. I asked skateboarder Hugo Maillard & videographer Pacôme Gabrillagues to do and shoot skateboarding tricks that would be as diverse-sounding as possible in the course of one night. I used the footage to create a 1-min audiovisual raw edit with video-samples chopped and screwed directly in Ableton Live. The result was pretty cool and served as the introduction to the video part from the Rennes team in the MEGAMIX skateboard video (2012). The project then took on a new direction when Orgasmic and Teki Latex of the Sound Pellegrino label asked me to rework the song and video into a longer club edit. This is the finished visual sound.
