Bruce "Brick Flaco" Jackson was born and raised Aug. 14, 1984 in Jamaica Queens NYC. Bruce spent his adolescent years hanging out on the streets of Merrick Boulevard and Jamaica Avenue. In Queens, he observed angst in the community. Bruce turned to art and poetry as a way of escaping the negativity that claimed his environment. Bruce's love for music started when he saw his first hip hop music video, "I'm Bad" by LL Cool J. From there he found the influence to enhance his poetry to hip hop. Brick's major influences included Big L, Killa Cam, Jay-Z, Notorious BIG,Nas, LL Cool J, Tribe called Quest, and Big Punisher. Brick Flaco is also an United States Air Force OIF Veteran, whom served in Iraq. Brick Flaco is a former 1017 Brick Squad Artist now renown philanthropist who focuses on projecting Jesus Christ and the Word through music.  Brick Flaco is also a voice over actor, whom got his start with the Overtyme TV cartoon series "Greeks In DC" as the mythological Greek Cyclops assassin named Corbis.
