I've come to appreciate the power of breath and the consciousness and intention we can bring to it. I woke up to this song, ready to be breathed. 

One of my prompts this week was "sixths"; This does have a fair amount of the vi chord and the six/one note interchange, by chance.

This is me trying to stretch out and leave the ideas space to breathe, rather than packing as much as I can into one track - it's the longest track I've ever done, even though I wrote most of it in one day on Monday!

It's a rough late night headphone mix to meet the songaweek deadline - I'll revisit that later when I've got more time.

I was reading "Wild" by Cheryl Strayed, about her Pacific Crest Trail experience, and I got to where she talked about the leap of faith she took to hit the trail.  I immediately knew that I had to write about that.

Then we went out and watched the skies on Thursday, leading to the second verse... 

Writing this song was a leap of faith, just like life, when we go for it.
