AGT Records return to their Editions series with the reissue of a sizzling 4-tracker from Stabilizer. Originally released in 2001 on Boom Box records, its sound is a scintillating hybrid of breakbeat and electro and a prime example of the glory days of the early 2000’s breaks scene. 

As electrifying breakbeats pound away beneath clinical high-hats and percussion, each track has its own personality and character. 
Mysterious samples and melodies are used to powerful effect, creating a sense of intrigue in amongst the beats. They are expertly placed and relieve the pressure of the tracks at just the right time, allowing the dancefloor to stay locked in, head down.

While all of this is going on, rolling basslines create warm grooves that keep things pushing forwards, the chunky bass weight balancing with the ice-cold elements above. 

This record captures the hedonistic spirit of the rave from two decades ago, and with things beginning to open up again that feeling is due a return to the dancefloors. Moving from the living room to the main room, it feels right to get this one back into circulation, all in good time.

Hello, lovely people out there.

This time I've got some very special treatment for you.
As we get closer to the dark times of the year, I felt the need to do something different—something unusual, something dark and intense.
So, I started to take a look into the forbidden corners of my collection.

In part, this mix includes highly controversial pieces of music; maybe some of you will get offended.
If not, just enjoy the selection while carving pumpkins or lurking around while trick-or-treating.

But jokes aside, it all can be fun—surrounded by the right people, in good company with family and friends, eating till Christmas just to eat more and get some presents from your beloved ones.

But for some of us, it’s not. Some of us just feel alone—very alone.

I will use this opportunity to call attention to the topic of mental illness, especially depression.
This slowly crawling clinical picture can reach all of us, so we should all be a bit more sensitive to it.
Often, people see no way out; they see no light anywhere.
But there can be light; there can be help.
There are people who care about you.
