Dr Austin O'Carroll,  social entrepreneur, researcher, radical activist, teacher,  Paralympic sailor (Rio 2016), and inner-city GP. The focus of his career has been improving access for communities affected by marginalization or deprivation to quality primary healthcare. 
He completed a Doctorate in ethnographic research into the health service usage behaviours of homeless people. He was a co-founding member of Northdoc. He received the Fiona Bradley Award; the Time & Tide Award for his work with migrants; the Healthcare professional of the Year Award 2015 and was awarded an Honorary membership of the RCPI the Doolin Award 2019; and Gertrude Ronan Award 2019. He was awarded the 5 Star Doctor Award from Wonca Europe in 2020.

Margaret McCartney , a doctor, writer, researcher, investigative journalist, and guardian of truth and honesty in clinical practice is a GP in Glasgow and a Senior Lecturer at the University of St Andrews. 
She is a freelance writer, columnist for the BMJ, broadcasts for Radio 4's Inside Health, writes regularly for The Guardian and is a sought after media commentator. She has written three books, The Patient Paradox, Living with Dying, and The State of Medicine. Bob Klaber is a consultant general paediatrician and director of strategy, research and innovation at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Bob trained as an educationalist alongside his postgraduate paediatric training in London and has a strong interest in individual and systems learning, quality improvement, digital innovation, behavioural insights work, leadership development and kindness. He has completed a mixed methods MD researching leadership approaches in healthcare.
In 2015 Bob set up a team who continue to drive an ambitious project to create a culture of continuous quality improvement across Imperial, has worked as Deputy Medical Director and has led work on the development and implementation of the Trust’s new organisational strategy. In his current director role he is responsible for strategy, research, innovation and improvement across Imperial College Healthcare, and within this role works closely with the senior leadership team with the Faculty of Medicine and Imperial College.
Bob is also a strong advocate for child health and co-leads the Connecting Care for Children (CC4C) integrated child health programme in North West London, which is focused on developing whole population integrated care models of care and learning within paediatrics and child health.

Bob Klaber

Cindy Haq was Chair of the Department of Family Medicine at the University of California, Irvine. She has had a lifetime commitment to primary health care, community health and family medicine and has devoted her career to promoting health equity and increasing access to primary health care for disadvantaged populations. She has developed programs in Pakistan, Uganda, Ethiopia, with the World Health Organization, and with governmental and non-governmental organizations. 
Previously at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health she was the founding director of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Global Health Institute.and created and directed the Training in Urban Medicine and Public Health (TRIUMPH)  
She has received numerous awards and honours including two Fulbright scholarships, an American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) President’s Award and Exemplary Teaching Award, a Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) National Excellence in Education Award, two Arnold Gold Foundation Humanism in Medicine awards.

Cindy Haq

Professor Jane Gunn AO is a distinguished academic general practitioner and inaugural Chair of Primary Care Research at The University of Melbourne where she is also Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences. Jane grew up and went to school in rural Victoria, Australia. As the daughter of two teachers, she observed the transformative power of education - of both the mind and the body.

Jane’s trailblazing research into the complex interplay between mental and physical health, and the key role of general practice in maximising wellbeing, led to her appointment in 2009 as Inaugural Visiting Professor to the Scottish School of Primary Care to join an international team to investigate multiple long-term physical health problems (multimorbidity). Jane continues to champion the value of ‘Generalism’ and the Generalist approach, particularly regarding mental health care.

Jane Gunn

Rebecca is a Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine with a special interest in exercise in cancer care, frailty, and female athlete health and also oncology. Rebecca has a portfolio career that includes clinical time at Marylebone Health (CHHP),professional sport, and the NHSShe graduated from Newcastle University, and trained in both hospital medicine and Sport and Exercise Medicine. Her research includes work on the impact of physical activity on chronic illness, clinical research in oncology to address barriers and opportunities to integrate exercise prescription into medical care. Her current clinical work includes musculoskeletal medicine, sport and exercise medicine for elite athletes and event medicine. She is also involved in helping Long COVID’ patients get back to exercise safely.Rebecca is an international athlete competing both on the road and in the mountains.

Rebecca Robinson

James Mountford is Health Strategy Officer for Galileo Global Education and Editor-in-Chief of BMJLeader. James’s career has spanned medicine, healthcare management, policy and education. After an early stint as an NHS doctor, James turned to management consulting – sparking an ongoing fascination with how to organise for learning across large systems, and best motivate people. As a Commonwealth Fund/Health Foundation Harkness Fellow, James studied the operations and organisation of American group practices, which provided excellent experience for subsequent Quality Director roles at UCLPartners and the Royal Free London, and as Director of National Improvement Strategy at NHS England.

He has played a key role in the development and evolution of the GRADE approach to systematic reviews and guidelines.

Gordon Guyatt

Prof Sven Streit, MD, MSc PhD, is a Swiss general practitioner (GP) in a rural community (Konolfingen) and Professor in Primary Care at the University of Bern. He co-leads the Master’s program and conducts research into interprofessional primary care. Prof Streit is past-president of the Swiss Organisation of Young GPs (JHaS, www.jhas.ch) and served as chair of the European Organisation of Young GPs (VdGM,www.vdgm.eu) and chairs the committee to promote general internal medicine of SGAIM (www.sgaim.ch). He trained in epidemiology (MSc) at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (www.lshtm.ac.uk) and at Leiden University (PhD) (www.universiteitleiden.nl) in the Netherlands. He is a member of the European General Practice Research Network (EGPRN, www.egprn.org).

Sven Streit

Wendy V. Norman, MD, CCFP, FCFP, DTM&H, MHSc, is a Professor in the Department of Family Practice, and an associate member in both the School of Population and Public Health, and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Dr. Norman is an Honorary Associate Professor in the Faculty of Public Health and Policy at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), in London, UK. She completed a MHSc (UBC), a diploma in Tropical Medicine and International Health (Liverpool University) and residencies in Family Medicine (U Alberta) and in GP-anaesthesiology (UBC). Her research interests include family planning health services, health professional education, and population health. Dr. Norman brings this multidisciplinary expertise into her role as CIHR/PHAC Applied Public Health Chair for her program of research on family planning health equity interventions (2014-2024). Dr. Norman was awarded the prestigious Darroch Award in sexual and reproductive health research in 2015 by the New York-based Guttmacher Institute. The Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada awarded her their inaugural National Mentorship Award in 2020, and the Canadian Government recognized her in 2021 as a “Woman of Impact”.
