Our 75th release is upon us as RSRRCT returns to Gem with his follow up EP, titled ‘Riddles in The Sand’. 

Kicking things off, ‘Riddles In The Sand’ pulsates with a tight groove and a beautifully executed combination of rhythms. Following course, a dark vocal appears alongside a distorted arp which lead the track into a deep and powerful rapture. Next up, ‘Reality’ takes us on a hypnotic trip with progressive synth work, giving it an open air feel. The vocal helps carry the track through to a breakbeat-esk break-down, before reaching its peak with a powerful bass which explodes straight back into stripped groovy goodness, and shows us once again why RSSRCT is once again the one to watch.

Now a prominent figure in Zurich's bubbling Techno scene
- Adroit Recordings ready an exciting project which acts as
a landmark for the multi-disciplinary collective. This is the
first LP on the label; a project which comes courtesy of
Italian maestro Drhamer.
With previous releases on Illegal Alien, Faut Section,
Dynamic Reflection and Sungate Drhamer manages to
seize and bolster Adroit's distinctive sound across all 8
tracks of Black Mirror whilst offering up his own sinister
vibe which is licked with Electro, Trance and dense, billowing Techno. Also included in the project
are remixes from Rekids affiliate Marcal and Illegal Alien founder - the Mexican heavyweight
Ricardo Garduno.
'Pink Bull' kicks things off with vicious intent as it grumbles out of the blocks behind rough, burnt
drums and mangled congas. Marcal's remix then sets the original looping to meditative effect.
Metallic sweeps and discordant drones build up a powerful tension before Ricardo Garduno wakes
the dance floor up with his take. Thick, powerful FX swoop over a dense kick in a manner which
conjures images of an extra terrestrial invasion.
The album presses on towards the title track which utilises precise sound design, chilly synths and
snappy 808s to Carl Finlow-esque effect. 'Spectrum' then sprinkles in some gloopy acid before
'Broken Heart' unfurls across 7 minutes of swooning, cinematic drama.
'Liver' then brings things to a moody close as a gargantuan kick is set thudding against a concrete
wall alongside whipping hi hats and synths which work together to wrap up an exciting new venture
for Adroit and Drhamer.

We’re extremely excited to announce our final compilation on TRSN for a while, as 2024 will usher in a new and exciting schedule of releases that we can’t wait to share. Following the positive reception of Delirium, Vol. I and Evolutions, Vol. I, we were eager to curate another compilation featuring some of the most exciting artists in the scene.

Evolutions, Vol. II comprises 14 club-ready tracks and showcases the talent of 15 incredible artists from around the world. The compilation is set to release on December 1st across all major streaming platforms.

We want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to everyone for their support over the first 6 months since we launched the label. We are a bit overwhelmed by how well the music has been received and the relationships we’ve forged in such a short space of time. We can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on for next year, but for now, enjoy the last few releases before we take a short break over the holiday period.

Across the ‘Street Rave EP’ McVicar marries Chicago inflected raw house sounds with an unmistakable UK rave slant throughout. From the buoyant combination of undulating bass and a rich palette of synths, stabs and vocal drops, the title track is just under six minutes of earworming hooks. ‘Dorian’ is a tougher, more clipped affair with a stomping, acid-inflected groove doing the work while closing track sees McVicar team up with fellow Scot Roose for a no-holds-barred workout which fuse 4:4 UK hardcore to a rock-solid house beat.

Precision kicks, pitter-patter effects and an escalating melody are joined by a spoken word sample in the bouncy ‘SMML’, before moving into ‘turboshandy’ with its springy bassline, lively synth stabs and heady pitched up vox. Tying things together, ‘heavy bad yin’ is a rumbling cut that powers onwards courtesy of robust drums, swinging hats and a squelchy acid lead.
