We're a four piece hard/alternate rock band from Liverpool in the UK. We formed over 3 years ago from the ashes of Big City Mist and Embers Rise. It was from these bands that we decided to call ourselves City Rise. In 2010 we did our first ever recordings and in 2011 we released our debut EP Resolutions and Revolutions. We've been through tough times and came out stronger than ever as a band, and with our second EP completed and awaiting release one thing is certain... We are here to stay!

As like any other normal group on route to stardom we have had a couple of line-up changes over the life of the band so far.
The last change was made by our Management team, (Symotry Music), to bring in a new band member to take up the Bass, (enter supreme Bassman Ben), which gave Lead Vocalist and Frontman, (Gaz Price), the freedom to step up to the Rythm Guitar to add more definition to the bands sound.
 
By Day we hone their skills at Redbridge Studios / Bolton...
By Night we Rock the Greater Manchester Venues to their CORE!

PAUL DORSETT - 
Spine tingling moments of genius in every piece of music he creates, nostalgic soulful riffs, leading to harmonic performances likened alongside, "Queen's", Legendary Bryan May. 

ANDY J SANT - 
Delivers the beats, rolls and fills, with timed precision, a drumming powerhouse sounding more like the aboriginals have come back to power! 

BEN MALLINSON -
Latest acquisition to the WKS foundry, his rumbling basslines keep things rocking at a solid pace, adding power to the low end of the rhythm section.
