“DONTE “TDUBARIQ” (PRONOUCED TAARIQ) CROOKS BORN OCTOBER 27th 1990, IS AN AMERICAN ENTREPRENEUR, PRODUCER AND RECORDING ARTIST BASED OUT OF FLORIDA. AT AN EARLY AGE DONTE KNEW THAT HE WAS DESTINED FOR A CAREER IN MUSIC. COMING FROM A FAMILY OF MUSIC TAARIQ WAS ABLE TO PICK UP FOR HIS LOVE OF MUSIC FIRST WITH POETRY AND FROM THERE HE BEGAN RECORDING AT THE AGE OF 15 IN 2005. HE HAS ACTIVELY BEEN WRITING MUSIC FOR ARTIST WHILE STILL HAVING THE ABILITY TO MAKE CLASSICS FOR HIMSELF. HE HAS OPENED UP FOR ARTIST SUCH AS 2CHAINZ, YOUNG DRO AND TRAVIS PORTER. AFTER THE TRAGIC PASSING OF HIS FATHER TDUBARIQ TOOK A BREAK FROM MUSIC AND FORMED ALWAYSBEOG WITH A FRIEND BUT RETURNED AGAIN IN 2014. SOME INFLUENCES IN HIS SOUND ARE CREDITED TO MUSIQ SOULCHILD, MOS DEF, DRAKE AND STEVIE WONDER JUST TO NAME A FEW. WITH A REFRESHING MELODIC AND NOSTALGIC APPROACH IN HIS PRODUCTION AND SONWGWRITING, TDUBARIQ PRODUCES CATCHY AND UPBEAT TUNES THAT STILL HAVE A VIBE AS DARK AS HIM.

Individually they are Phi and Meisha, Columbus Ohio natives and best friends. But together they are known as PM, the first letter of their names combined together; an inseparable force not to be reckoned with.  Music has always been an interest for PM but with Phi residing in Los Angeles and Meisha in Jersey it was hard for them to produce their music together efficiently at times. They’ve faced many challenges through this journey but they never gave up. The friendship, love and drive that they have kept each other going, finding any way possible to make music and flourish in the industry. Their new single “Get It” is a summer anthem and club banger.
