If you ever wondered where the S - Express Sample came from, then it was originally recorded by Rose Royce in 1979. Released on Norman Whitfields Label and Produced and arranged by NW for Whitfield Records. It was a popular release. On this version, Robbie Casa Blanco replayed the bass guitar, added additional keys and synths resulting in this overdub. Enjoy.
