Peruvian musician @marcotegui began his musical journey in 2009, firstly making an impact in South America before graduating to the world stage. He is now based in Ibiza and was previously A&R at Berlin’s iconic Bar25 label as well as managing its sister imprint Sirin Music before starting his own DowntempoLove label. He has a magical live set that combines the same rich harmonies, hypnotic sounds and melodic synths as his productions on labels like Get Physical, Stil For Talent and many more. His new Kindisch Stories album is a rich tapestry of South American melodies, instrumentals and Tegui's own exquisite musicianship. Reggae Got Swing Vol.4

Burning 2017 ... well, you know how to blow my mind. It was my second burn and i enjoyed it every seconds, it was again more better than the first one. 
It was an unique and amazing experience that you struggle to describe. Video, music, pictures, words or any story can only telling a little piece of all the magic...
I had the chance of playing  to some amazing camps. Big Big love for them: my Dusty Beavers, Midnight Poutine, Funky Town, Arno's Flying Fryer, Kentuky Fried Camp and Things that swing. 
Thanks a lot for having me. It was just magic!
Unfortunately, I could not record any of the sessions that I played. You know the dust, the machine and the human, everything get a bit messy and dusty … In the meantime, I feel the need to put together a selection of tunes that best described my feelings about my burn : 
Love, Freedom, Mystic, Hope, Vision, Fantasy and Rebirth. 
Radical Ritual was  the thematic of the year, so you can heard that it inspires me a lot in the process of this mixtape. I want to send my love and my huge respect to all the great producers and labels all around the world for making their amazing music... Close your eyes, feel the vibe and enjoy the journey!

I decided to upload my set for the March's edition of Wild As The Moon with Acid Pauli, Geju, Sam Shure, Sven Dohse and many more..

We walked from The Gardens of Babylon 's family meeting to the Main Room of De Marktkantine where I had to take everyone from their dancing feet into a meditative state of mind with my music.

This event was big challenge for me because, once again, I had to push my musical boundaries and curate new music that could help me create this new atmosphere in the room. I explored new styles and dived deep into the realm of electronic music to play something different from what I use to play, and offer something special.

I am really grateful with everyone that shared with me this special moment. You guys don't understand how happy each on of you make me.

Live Recording @ Wild As The Moon w/ Acid Pauli [ 31-03-2018]

This is a mix recorded live during " L'OsstidBurn " the Montreal Burning Man. This fantastic gathering is a participatory art festival held just 1.5 hours from Montréal from June 14-17 2018, inspired by the Ten Principles of Burning Man.
I was really happy to play on friday afternoon at Robot Tarte in such a magical setting, among kindred spirits and friends. Robot Tarte is a funny and sarcastic soundcamp in hommage to the famous Robot Heart. To understand the joke, Robot heart sounds like Robot Tarte in english with the french accent. 
Robot Tarte is a collective of engineers, party people, french people, dreamers and irreverent hippies .They have a massive Funkion one sound system and a perfect location close to the river. 
I was playing spiritual tracks to feat with their thematic Enviezionne.

Inspired by folkloric multiculturalism, he loves to experiment with the traditions of world music and knows how to transfer it into a modern perspective to brew an electronic-music-elixir with that extra drop of mescal flavor. His unique musical voyage combines a well-selected myriad of styles from Downtempo, Folktronica, Indie Dance & Organic House, all delivered with a vibrant, joyful flair. Don has toured around the world over the past years and got crowds dancing in clubs and festivals such as Boomtown (UK), Burning Man (USA), Piknik Electronik, Bambou Huts (Koh Phanghan), Envision Fest (Costa Rica), klunkerkranich & Beate Uwe (Belin), Solstice Fest (Guatemala) ... 

Furthermore Don Mescal is the co-founder of Cosmovision Records, a new music label and collective of a mix of immigrants from Latin America, Europe and locals from Canada, based in Montréal, working together in a collaborative and inter-dependent way through a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary artistic platform, believing in the value of different cultures, art and the universe itself.
