manuel aka Immanu-El is playing with different styles of music for a long time. Through his personal journey and life's challenges he discovered shamanism and found lots of inspiration through folkloric and multicultural electronic sounds. Since then, Immanu-El has been sweetening the floor at various festivals around the globe, cacao ceremonies and ecstatic dance sessions, always thriving in tribal trance sounds. His DEEP GROOVY HYPNOTIC SOUNDS mesmerize crowds, turning the dance floor into a spiritual place. He founded the label Sunna Records and the german party series "Into the Woods"

He co-produces a live Ethno-Trance (Psy/Prog) project, called „Trance Lucid“. They are mixing exotic instruments, natural sounds and pumping basslines to create Natural&Ethno Trance. They lead their audience on an auditory journey through different cultures and reawake the most deep-rooted kind of trance.

Depuis 2015 j’ai fais 162 concerts. A chaque concert je faisais des nouveaux morceaux improvisés. Alors quand l’inspi venait c’était stylé, puis quand l’inspi venait pas c’était naze. Mais comme l’inspi, elle prévient pas, dans les deux cas j’enregistrais. A la fin de la tournée, iTunes affichait 8,2 jours de son. Alors j’ai tout réécouté, les moments de merde je les ai laissé, les moments biens je les ai bossé. Et de fil en aiguille devinez ce qui est apparu : un album.

C’est le résultat d’un gros taff et en même temps c’est comme si ces morceaux avaient poussés tout seul
Ils sont tous composés et enregistrés en live, j’ai mis les infos dans les titres des morceaux, vous verrez ya des concerts où j’étais grave sous inspi et puis d’autres où y avait carrément rien à garder.
S’il y a autant de morceaux dans l’album c’est parce que c’est un album hors format (dans le cas où quelqu’un vous poserait la question)
Mais donc comme la plupart d’entre vous auront pas le temps de tout écouter j’ai demandé à des gens qui comptent pour moi ainsi qu’à des gens bons que j’ai rencontré sur la route, de digger dans la tracklist pour vous dire quel titre écouter en premier

When you take off for a musical journey, the launch pad is known, but you can rarely forecast the landing strip and the journey in between. As Cosmonauts, that uncertainty is what we enjoy most: the wonder experienced along the trip, the polychromatic soundscapes revealed after a transition and the playful bounce between colourful beats along a track. In this episode of our podcast series, we bring you Da Iguana, a true sound explorer. This eclectic multi-instrumentalist started wandering the vastness of sound as a guitarist and bassplayer in his childhood and built his talent thanks to an astonishing variety of musical projects. In his mix prepared for UCR, he gifts us many of his latest unreleased tracks which are beautifully blended with past productions. Despite the multicultural flavor and prismatic style of the tracks in this mix, most of them resulted from an inspiring journey he had with his muse through Central America and the Caribbean, much like the voyages green iguanas take across those same lands and waters.
