facettes live @ Origins — Mesmerising Collective

Origins was the first night of Mesmerising Collective — the beginning of a journey built around music, connection, storytelling and shared experiences.

Recorded live on Saturday 24th November at The Button Factory, Auckland, New Zealand, this set was accompanied by the beautiful sounds of Abby Best on cello, Maximiliano Pierret and Geo on percussion, amazing performers and immersive lighting by Luminal Visuals.

Words can hardly describe how magical this experience was.

Spiritual experience & Storytelling was just a glimpse of what we created together that night — a moment where music, movement, live instruments and energy came together as one.

A huge thank you to all the friends, artists, dancers, performers, creatives and amazing people who helped make this possible, and to everyone who has supported Mesmerising Collective throughout this journey.

This is where the story began. ✨

LEH YA AMAR
----------

Lyrics:

Oasis

It started with anger. No map. No plan. Just two hands and a voice that wouldn't stay quiet.

They said, "Sit down." Don't make a sound. But the lesson felt like a cage. Somewhere in the margins we found the key. Not given to us. Found.

They built walls to keep us out. We turned them into stairs.

So we climb. One breath. One step. One more time.

They tried to erase us, so we wrote our own names again and again until the ink couldn't be washed away.

We don't smash what's broken. We put it back together. Proof that a voice can be useful. Proof that it can be true.

The street taught us things no classroom could. But the price was steep. Still, we turned every no into a door. Every closed hand into an open one.

The old ones don't say much. They teach with their hands. A father who doesn't speak but repairs the world anyway. A brother by choice who holds you when you fall. That's the weight we split. That's how we stand tall.

Part two starts now.

Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I began studying piano in 1993, and over time sound became my way of experiencing and interpreting the world.

In the early 2000s I discovered electronic music and ventured into creating my first tracks.

In 2010–2011 I completed professional sound-engineering training in London, where I studied studio recording, mixing, mastering, and acoustics.

Since 2012 I have been crafting ethnic musical instruments by hand, exploring the natural resonance and character of wood. This opened a new universe of organic tones and vibrations — elements that now often appear in my compositions, forming unique hybrid sound textures.

All music is created manually, real sound design and authentic instruments — no AI.
