Este ano o Festival Contato precisou ser antecipado em função da pandemia COVID e da situação nacional cada vez mais grave. Começamos 01 de março e esperamos não durar muito, mas enquanto precisar, o que era um evento, agora mantém-se um espaço, um hospital de campanha para nossa sanidade mental.

Em "praça pública”: a internet. Tudo é construído com parcerias, trabalho voluntário, respeito ao próximo e doação. Com civilidade, sem ódio, sem negacionismo. Com uma abordagem positiva, que permita um respiro à nuvem tóxica que se formou nesses últimos tempos.O Contato começou em 2005, virou virtual em 2007 e teve várias edições, até 2019, no Dia Mundial de Luta Contra a Aids - 1o de dezembro. No ano passado optamos por mudar o foco da epidemia HIV-Aids para a atual pandemia, mais devastadora ainda que a aids.

O Projeto Contato reafirma a necessidade de mobilização social no enfrentamento da pandemia, e se propõe a ser um espaço de descanso, discussão e reflexão sobre o nosso papel nesse momento. Não abandonemos o humano que há em nós e nem aqueles que estão sendo tratados com total desumanidade, ao nosso lado, na nossa frente.

A luta que começou em 2005, com a Laços, uma ONG da Letícia, uma amiga de Goiânia que a aids levou (que era a própria ONG, sua casa, sua vida…), a luta de tanta gente querida que perdemos, e a luta diária de tantos outros brasileiros que precisam de médicos, de medicamentos, de oxigênio, de portas abertas, de um Brasil que enxergue as pessoas com suas diferenças e identidades únicas (não para dividi-las, mas para igualá-las), é a luta que precisamos abraçar. Um pequeno guarda-chuva, nessa tempestade, mas que se trouxer um pouco de alento e um respiro para enfrentá-la já está valendo. E também porque afeta todos, cidadãos e cidadãs que compartilhamos, além da humanidade, o pertencimento a esse país que chamamos Brasil. Pois assistir o que seus habitantes estão vivendo, sem indignar-se e buscar ajudar (e não atrapalhar como algumas “autoridades") é impossível. Para reclamar, xingar o governo e lamentar não faltam canais.

O Projeto Contato busca a irradiação de informações que estimulem o trabalho de prevenção, assistência social e o exercício da cidadania. Convidamos você para essa praça virtual, com música, imagens, ideias e ações construtivas!

We start from a mysterious place where dark, sacred Thames waters originate at the North Sea... moving along by unifying past, present and future rivers, until we reach the zero meridian which falls under the spell of the enticing multifaceted London...

Among the abundance of urban voices and sounds we can clearly detect weird, almost dissonant, syncretic rhythms - hidden behind masks and spiced by magic spells. On hearing the percussion, we easily find the source - it turns out to be a three persons are reading a book called ''Tales of Voodoo'', and one of the stories is recorded here...

Far, far away, possibly somewhere in the Southern expanses of the Pacific Ocean, lies a remote island. Deep in the centre there rises a cloud-touching volcano from where, in all directions, diverges compositional patterns of fragrant flowers combined with wild growing exotic trees - amongst, which is easily discernible, lies an abundance of strange creatures, seemingly moving aimlessly in all directions...

On the horizon looms an unidentified object... as it approaches it grows larger and larger until, finally, it reveals itself, swimming in a glare of sunlight. The ship hovering in the sky casts its anchor with an iron grip, digging deep into the unsteady sands, and the team of explorers, one by one, make their first steps toward uncertainty...

Together with the mix, created by a psychedelic-creative trio from England, we experience a special connection with African rhythms. So let's go to a meeting with...

Ant aka A-Tweed: stage name of Antonio De Oto, Italian DJ/producer based in Rome focusing on global weird and dark electronics. His sets provide odd, dark and trippy acid vibes with afrofuturism, cosmic disco, global bass, tropical house, psychedelic cumbia, weird downbeats and 360° worldwide music gems selections. A conceptual body of work using afro-electronics fused with Celtic cultures, the 3 tracks dedicated to Scotland, Bretagne and Galicia respectively. The tracks were premiered by Le Mellotron, Les Yeux Orange and Midnight Orient.
He just release an EP on french label HARD FIST and more original and remixes are coming in 2021.

Once, I noticed that I was surrounded by portals ... It's so amazing because of familiar things and even sensations: doors, tracks, melodies, rhythms, moods, colors, feelings, smells, thoughts - all these moves to different states, memories, and spaces...Along with this spontaneous insight, the understanding also came that I can use these observations of mine absolutely at any time...But, according to the classical scheme, in practice it turned out that not everything is so simple and to move you need to listen, watch, touch something for real - giving yourself completely...

When I began to practice my jumps into the unknown, it turned out that the most difficult thing is not to look back...After all, at some moments fear comes, which whispers in my ear, various doubts, all in order to knock off from the intended path...The usual paradigm ceases to exist and new energies make their own adjustments, sometimes, destroying the veil before our eyes, and everything appears in its true light...Having coped with the mind and the experiences coming from the outside, you might think that everything, now, for sure, no one will interfere with receiving true pleasure...Well, here the second test is hiding - habit...

Indeed, in human nature, the skill of adapting to almost any conditions is so highly developed, adding them to the daily routine...Therefore, it is very easy to get used to portals and that with their help, depending on the mood, you can change the reality...
The trap lies in the fact that the more often we walk along the same paths, the less we have a true feeling, therefore, we must try to find some previously unperceived details even where they can no longer be by definition, but better is trying to see new ways...

At the moment of these thoughts, I created this entry as a kind of chain of doors with new experiences...
