The Kool Skool was started in 1997 by a group of School friend B-Boy DJs playing Hip-Hop and Funk at House parties and Bars around London. 
In 2000, DJ Odouble Ess "The Genius" and DJ Shucks One "The Idiot" was offered a slot on Itch FM by DJ Taz (Plastic Soldiers) when he left to concentrate on his DMC dreams. For about 3 years The Kool Skool Radio Show duo broadcast Prime Time to the London Area on the only Pirate Radio station truly representing Hip-Hop culture. After Odubs left the show in 2003, DJ Shucks One continued on Itch FM until 2007 mixing all genres in a Hip-Hop style, promoting a healthy variety of dope music and actively supporting the UK scene. 
DJ Shucks One represents the Universal Zulu Nation, ID Crew, SDM, CBM and many of the elements. He is presently involved in many projects promoting positive Hip-Hop culture, as a Journalist, Youth Worker, Film Maker, Graffiti Writer/Documentor and illustrator.
