Elle a déjà été jouée, arrangée pour diverses formations (flûte à bec, flûte traversière, hautbois / flûte, clarinette, accordéon, percussions), mais jamais enregistrée dans de bonnes conditions en live, c'est pourquoi vous pouvez écouter ici une version studio 100% virtuelle.

CANAN Duo, aujourd'hui composé de Canan Domurcakli (chant et saz) et d'Hoëla Barbedette (harpe celtique) propose un dialogue entre musiques anciennes d'Anatolie et d'Europe occidentale.
Ici deux pièces médiévales qui n'étaient probablement pas associées à l'époque : une estampie issue du "Manuscrit du Roi" (milieu du XIIIe siècle) et "Breu vers per tal", unique canso qui nous soit parvenue du troubadour occitan Gausbert Amiel (1ère moitié du XIIe siècle).

After I composed this piece I wanted to dedicate it to the children of Gaza who have now lived through three wars in the past seven years, the last one notable for its brutality. They are emotionally and, in some cases, physically shattered.   
I wanted this piece to reflect the conflicting emotions that comes with the sounds heard by the children of Gaza, confusing thunder and sunsets with bombs and distant explosions..
