Opperman T. and Matthew G. Brown (collectively known as Opperman Brown, in case you hadn't twigged) first bonded over a scratched copy of Bruce Springsteen's The River whilst plying their trade as the rhythm section in a London pub rock band. After going it alone in 2015, the pair cut the Terrace Tapes EP which took in influences ranging from Ryan Adams, The Gun Club and Gram Parsons. Opperman T. writes the songs and sings 'em. Matt wrestles both screams and chocolate tones from his Tele. "Our tastes are often polar opposites, " says the former. "However, somehow we meet in the middle when it comes to Ryan Adams or Whiskey Town, Springsteen and Mick Taylor-era Stones." Together they're veterans of the capital's gig circuit having played, among others, The Borderline, 100 Club, Cargo and the much - missed Bull & Gate.

Thanks for checking out my demos!  I create music using an electric guitar and bass, at present my demos don't have percussion, drums were the first instrument I played and someday I would hope to be in a situation where I could play percussion for my music!
