Idongesit Ifet is from Akwa Ibom State Nigeria; an accountant by training. He is Chairman; Society of Young Nigerian Writers, Akwa Ibom State chapter. His passion for literature is the driving force behind his numerous writings. He has won several literary prizes and his literary work has appeared in diverse publications like “Natural Reflections” an anthology of poems by Shannon Norman, Who Shall I Make My Wife, a collection of food related poems by Eriata Oribhabor,  Newslink newspaper (columnist), Allpoetry, High on Poems, magazines and blogs; including his personal poetry blog “DIARY OF AN AFRICAN POET” on www.poetpulpit.blogspot.com  which will soon be developed into his first published poetry book.
