Gulnara Petzold, a multi-talented artist, is known for her expertise as a sound artist, composer, vocalist, and DJ. During her time at the University of Arts Berlin, she actively represented women and played a pivotal role in organizing a lecture and performance series featuring renowned female artists such as Gudrun Gut and Anika. The vibrant music scene in Berlin greatly influenced her artistic development. Despite being self-taught, Gulnara has honed her musical skills to perfection. This year, she astounded audiences with an experimental electronic concert combining spoken word and captivating DJ sets at prominent venues like Ava Berlin, where she collaborated with the collective female:pressure.
Gulnara has released several tracks and collaborations under esteemed labels like Associated Paraboloid and Big Bells Records. Her most recent production gained recognition when it was featured in a video reel by the Russian underground club Blank to promote a forthcoming event. This summer, she is set to mesmerize audiences with her live performances and DJ sets at various art festivals and clubs, showcasing her exceptional talent and captivating audiences with her unique sound.

Imagine all these bits falling together at breakneck speed and with a well psychedelic notion and you'll be captivated by one of the most unique dancefloor cuts from a space-exploring future, the electroid soundtrack for illegal raves taking place under the two suns of life-bearing exoplanets in binary star systems far far away.

Donna Maya is an innovative musician, sound artist and theremin player based in Berlin and Tenerife.  Her music is a rich tapestry of experimentation and evolution of underground techno. 

Donna Mayas unique musical journey begins with this rare electronic instrument, the theremin, played without physical contact, creating a one-of-a-kind sonic experience. Her mission takes her to the most unexpected places seeking to capture the uncharted soundscapes that they offer. Every sound sample becomes a brushstroke on the canvas of her compositions, unveiling the enigmatic references and stories concealed within.

Donna Maya´s performance is further enriched by captivating visuals created from the source material of her sound recordings.  She found her own approach to play the instrument and create a unique sound that differs much from what is expected. Her art is a testament to the power of sound to reveal hidden sound information to create personal narratives that resonate with audiences.

Donna Maya also writes film music for the movie „Kurz und schmerzlos“ by Fatih Akin, composes turntable concerts for chamber philharmonic and DJ and develops interdisciplinary performances. Her work led to invitations to perform at Transmediale in Berlin and Sonar Festival in Barcelona.
